Friday walkthrough: Week 2

Team-by-team review of any key fantasy player and their prospects for playing based on this week’s practice activity and team statements. Only those players missing practice time based on the Game Status Reports released by the teams will be addressed unless the situation warrants.

PLEASE NOTE: The NFL releases their official Game Status Reports (GSR) late on Friday (after 4:00pm ET) and teams on the west coast often report their injuries late.

This week’s key game-time decisions: WR Markus Wheaton (CHI), WR Josh Bellamy (CHI), WR Josh Doctson (WAS), WR Odell Beckham (NYG), TE Jermaine Gresham (ARI)

ARIZONA
As the entire fantasy world knows now RB David Johnson (wrist) has been placed on IR and the team hopes he can return by late December. WR John Brown (quad) sat out practice this week and is out for Week 2. TE Jermaine Gresham (ribs) also didn’t practice all week and his playing status for Sunday is in question. Game-time decision.

RB Danny Woodhead (hamstring) was placed on IR and the team hopes he can return in eight weeks after their Week 10 bye.

BUFFALO
RB LeSean McCoy (wrist, groin) experienced some wrist numbness in the game last week and sat out practice Friday due to some groin soreness, but he’s expected to be fine for Sunday. TE Charles Clay (shoulder) is already settling into his typical light practice schedule but should be good to go Sunday.
