Friday walkthrough: Week 5

Team-by-team review of any key fantasy player and their prospects for playing based on this week’s practice activity and team statements. Only those players listed on the team’s final Injury Report will be addressed unless the situation warrants.

PLEASE NOTE: The NFL releases their final official Injury Report late on Friday (after 4:00pm ET) and teams on the west coast often report their injuries late and are not included.

ARIZONA
WR John Brown (quad) and WR J.J. Nelson (hamstring, tooth) were limited all week in practice but both are expected to be on the field this weekend.

ATLANTA – Bye Week

BALTIMORE
WR Jeremy Maclin (hand) is listed as questionable but got in a full week of practice and should be good to go Sunday. TE Benjamin Watson (calf) didn’t practice until Friday, but that one full practice sets him up to play. Backup TE Maxx Williams (ankle) has been ruled out again this week.

BUFFALO
WR Jordan Matthews (thumb) has been ruled out for this week’s game, and some reports have him out at least a month.

CAROLINA
No injuries of fantasy note.

CHICAGO – Monday Night
No injuries of fantasy note.

CINCINNATI
WR John Ross (knee) and TE Tyler Eifert (back) didn’t practice all week again and neither will play Sunday.

CLEVELAND
WR Kenny Britt (knee, groin) didn’t see the practice field this week and is not expected to play.

DALLAS
No injuries of fantasy note.

DENVER – Bye Week

DETROIT
WR Kenny Golladay (hamstring) has been ruled out and will miss another week of action. 

GREEN BAY
RB Ty Montgomery (ribs) has not been officially ruled out and he was able to practice on a limited basis this week, but he’s expected to play. WR Davante Adams (concussion) was also limited in practice all week but has yet to officially clear the league’s concussion protocol. If he’s not ruled out or in Saturday he’ll be a game-time decision.

HOUSTON
No injuries of fantasy note.

INDIANAPOLIS
QB Andrew Luck (right shoulder) remains sidelined and out for Week 5. TE Jack Doyle (concussion, neck) is also out this week.

JACKSONVILLE
WR Marqise Lee (ribs) only got in a single limited practice on Friday and is expected to sit this game out.

KANSAS CITY
No injuries of fantasy note.

LOS ANGELES CHARGERS
Rookie WR Mike Williams (back) has been ruled out yet again this week but WR Tyrell Williams (neck) should be good to go Sunday after a full week of practice.

LOS ANGELES RAMS
No injuries of fantasy note.

MIAMI
No injuries of fantasy note.

MINNESOTA – Monday Night
QB Sam Bradford (knee) has hit the practice field on a limited basis this week and is on track to return to action Monday night.

NEW ENGLAND – Played Thursday Night

NEW YORK GIANTS
RB Paul Perkins (ribs) has been ruled out this weekend.

NEW YORK JETS
RB Matt Forte (knee, toe) didn’t practice all week and is out again.

OAKLAND
QB Derek Carr (back) did get in some limited work this week in practice as the #2 QB but no one expects him to play Sunday.

PHILADELPHIA
RB Wendell Smallwood (knee) was held out of practice all week and is not expected to play despite being listed as questionable.

PITTSBURGH
No injuries of fantasy note.

SAN FRANCISCO
WR Marquise Goodwin (concussion) will need to pass the league’s concussion protocol, which is expected, in order to play Sunday.

SEATTLE
Like last week RB C.J. Prosise (ankle) didn’t practice all week and is not likely to play.

TAMPA BAY – Played Thursday Night

TENNESSEE
QB Marcus Mariota (hamstring) got in a limited week of practice and most signs point to him not playing, but he’ll be a game-time decision. WR Corey Davis (hamstring) has been ruled out again this week.

WASHINGTON – Bye week
