Friday walkthrough: Week 8

Team-by-team review of any key fantasy player and their prospects for playing based on this week’s practice activity and team statements. Only those players listed on the team’s final official injury report will be addressed unless the situation warrants.

PLEASE NOTE: The NFL releases their final official injury report late on Friday (after 4:00pm ET) and teams on the west coast often report their injuries late and are not included.

ARIZONA – Bye Week
Placed QB Carson Palmer (broken arm) on IR this week.

ATLANTA
No injuries of fantasy note.

BALTIMORE – Played Thursday Night
RB Terrance West (calf), WR Mike Wallace (back) and TE Maxx Williams (ankle) were inactive.

BUFFALO
TE Charles Clay (knee) didn’t practice all week and is out again.

CAROLINA
TE Ed Dickson (ankle) put in two full practices this week and is expected to play despite the questionable tag. PK Grahm Gano (knee) had two full practices but sat out Friday’s session, raising concerns about his playing status for Sunday.

CHICAGO
WR Markus Wheaton (groin) is expected to remain sidelined for 2-4 more weeks.

CINCINNATI
WR Tyler Boyd (knee) remains out and is expected to miss several more weeks. Rookie WR John Ross (knee) got in a full week of practice and is not on the team’s final injury report. He’s expected to play.

CLEVELAND
No injuries of fantasy note.

DALLAS
PK Dan Bailey (groin) is expected to miss at least four weeks.

DENVER – Monday Night
QB Paxton Lynch (shoulder) returned to practice this week, his first since his injury. WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) however, has not returned to the practice field this week and it’s not looking like he’ll play Monday night. TE A.J. Derby (shoulder) has been limited in practice so far this week but is expected to play.

DETROIT
WR Kenny Golladay (hamstring) barely practiced this week and has been ruled out. WR Golden Tate (shoulder) only logged limited practice sessions this week but all signs point to him playing.

GREEN BAY – Bye Week
No injuries of fantasy note.

HOUSTON
No injuries of fantasy note.

INDIANAPOLIS
QB Andrew Luck (right shoulder) remains sidelined this week.

JACKSONVILLE – Bye Week
RB Leonard Fournette (ankle) is expected to return to action next week.

KANSAS CITY – Monday Night
RB Charcandrick West (concussion) has returned to full practice this week and is expected to play. 

LOS ANGELES CHARGERS
Despite another limited practice week RB Melvin Gordon (shoulder) is expected to be on the field Sunday.

LOS ANGELES RAMS – Bye Week
No injuries of fantasy note.

MIAMI – Played Thursday Night
QB Jay Cutler (ribs) and WR DeVante Parker (ankle) were both inactive.

MINNESOTA
QB Sam Bradford (knee) is out again this week. WR Stefon Diggs (groin, ankle) put in two full practices this week and is expected to return to the field Sunday. WR Michael Floyd (hamstring) was limited all week in practice and questionable to play Sunday.

NEW ENGLAND
WR Danny Amendola (knee) was limited all week in practice but is expected to play despite being tagged as questionable this week.

NEW ORLEANS
No injuries of fantasy note.

NEW YORK GIANTS – Bye Week
WR Sterling Shepard (ankle) is expected to return to action next week. 

NEW YORK JETS
No injuries of fantasy note.

OAKLAND
No injuries of fantasy note.

PHILADELPHIA
No injuries of fantasy note.

PITTSBURGH
TE Vance McDonald (knee) didn’t practice all week and will not play.

SAN FRANCISCO
WR Marquise Goodwin (back) was limited in practice this week but the team expects him to be on the field Sunday.

SEATTLE
RB C.J. Prosise (ankle) didn’t practice this week and is not expected to play.

TAMPA BAY
Despite the questionable tag, QB Jameis Winston (right shoulder) is expected to play after putting in a full practice on Friday. He was limited earlier in the week.

TENNESSEE – Bye Week
WR Corey Davis (hamstring) is expected to return to action next week.

WASHINGTON
No injuries of fantasy note.
