Friday walkthrough: Week 16

Team-by-team review of any key fantasy player and their prospects for playing based on this week’s practice activity and team statements. Only those players listed on the team’s final official injury report will be addressed unless the situation warrants.

PLEASE NOTE: The NFL releases their final official injury report late on Friday (after 4:00pm ET) and teams on the west coast often report their injuries late and are not included.

This week’s key game-time decisions: RB Samaje Perine (WAS), RB Austin Ekeler (LAC)

ARIZONA
WR John Brown (toe) logged just limited practice sessions this week. Despite being tagged as questionable the team is hopeful he’ll return to action after a four-game absence. TE Jermaine Gresham (illness) was limited early in the week but put in a full session Friday and is not on the team’s final injury report and expected to return to action Sunday.

ATLANTA
WR Julio Jones (ankle, thumb), RB Tevin Coleman (concussion) and WR Mohamed Sanu (knee) all saw limited practice this week but none were on the team’s final injury report and all are expected to play.

BALTIMORE – Saturday
WR Jeremy Maclin (knee) didn’t practice all week and is listed as doubtful for Saturday’s matchup. He’s not expected to play.

BUFFALO
Backup QB Nathan Peterman (concussion) has cleared concussion protocol and got in a full week of practice. RB LeSean McCoy (knee) was either limited or rested this week in practice but was not on the team’s final injury report. Just like last week WR Kelvin Benjamin (knee) logged a limited week of practice and is listed as questionable, but he’s trending towards playing Sunday.

CAROLINA
WR Devin Funchess (shoulder) continues his up and down practice schedule but is again expected to play through his typical questionable tag this week.

CHICAGO
TE Adam Shaheen (chest) is listed as questionable after being limited in practice all week, but he’s expected to play.  

CINCINNATI
RB Joe Mixon (concussion) practiced fully this week and was not on the team’s final injury report. He’s expected to return to action Sunday.

CLEVELAND
RB Isaiah Crowell (shoulder) put in a full practice session Friday after being limited earlier and he didn’t make the team’s final injury report.

DALLAS
No injuries of fantasy note.

DENVER
QB Paxton Lynch (ankle) returned to practice this week on a limited basis and is listed as questionable. WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) only got in a single limited practice this week and trending towards not playing. He’s officially listed as questionable.

DETROIT
No injuries of fantasy note.

GREEN BAY – Saturday Night
WR Davante Adams (concussion) has been ruled out this week.

HOUSTON – Monday
QB Tom Savage (concussion) was placed on IR, ending his season. WR DeAndre Hopkins (toe) has been limited in practice this week but is expected to play. WR Braxton Miller (concussion) is back to full practices and expected to return to action Monday.

INDIANAPOLIS – Saturday
WR Donte Moncrief (ankle) has been ruled out for this week and is likely done for the season. TE Brandon Williams (concussion) has also been ruled out for Saturday’s game.

JACKSONVILLE
RB Leonard Fournette (quadricep) practiced fully all week and is on track to return to action. WR Allen Hurns (ankle) logged a limited week of practice but is not 100%. Indications are he’ll return to action and try to play through his questionable tag on Sunday. WR Marqise Lee (ankle) has been ruled out.

KANSAS CITY
TE Travis Kelce (illness) only put in a single limited practice on Friday but he’s not on the team’s final injury report and fully expected to play.

LOS ANGELES CHARGERS
RB Austin Ekeler (hand) returned to full practice Friday after limited sessions earlier in the week. Gordon’s backup is a game-time decision. TE Hunter Henry (kidney) was placed on IR, ending his season.

LOS ANGELES RAMS
PK Greg Zuerlein (back) was placed on IR, ending his season.

MIAMI
RB Damien Williams (shoulder) only got in limited practice work this week and he’s expected to miss another week after being tagged as doubtful. WR DeVante Parker (ankle) rested most of the week but returned to a full practice Friday and is expected to play despite his questionable status.

MINNESOTA – Saturday Night
TE Kyle Rudolph (ankle) was limited all week in practice but didn’t make the team’s final injury report and is expected to play.

NEW ENGLAND
RB Rex Burkhead (knee) has been ruled out this week. RB James White (ankle) put in a limited week of practice but is expected to play through his questionable status. WR Chris Hogan (shoulder) was again limited in practice all week but is expected to return to action despite his questionable tag.

NEW ORLEANS
WR Ted Ginn (rib) looked much better in his limited practice sessions this week and is expected to return to action Sunday as he didn’t make the team’s final injury report.

NEW YORK GIANTS
WR Tavarres King (concussion) has been ruled out after missing practice all week.

NEW YORK JETS
Another week of no practice for RB Matt Forte (knee) and a questionable playing status, but odds are he’ll play.

OAKLAND – Monday Night
WR Amari Cooper (ankle) rested Thursday but returned to full practice on Friday and is on track to return to action Monday night.

PHILADELPHIA – Monday Night
No injuries of fantasy note.

PITTSBURGH – Monday
WR Antonio Brown (calf) has been ruled out this week. TE Vance McDonald (shoulder) is back to full practices and expected to return to action Monday.

SAN FRANCISCO
TE Garrett Celek (knee, rib) was limited in practice all week and is questionable to play.

SEATTLE
No injuries of fantasy note.

TAMPA BAY
WR DeSean Jackson (ankle) didn’t practice all week and has been ruled out. TE Cameron Brate (hip) was limited in practice all week and tagged as questionable, but he’s expected to play. TE O.J. Howard (ankle) was placed on IR, ending his season.

TENNESSEE
No injuries of fantasy note.

WASHINGTON
RB Samaje Perine (groin) left Thursday’s practice with a groin injury and didn’t practice Friday. He looks to be a game-time decision Sunday.
