Oakland Raiders RB DeAndre Washington rushed six times for a team-high 26 yards in Week 8 against the Buffalo Bills and he added a team-best eight receptions for 62 yards and a score.

Huddle Up: Washington and Jalen Richard shared the backfield load with Marshawn Lynch suspended, and he really showed off his versatility with his hands out of the backfield. He isn't a bad option in deeper PPR formats going forward, but keep in mind the Lynch will be back in Week 9 at Miami.

Oakland Raiders RB DeAndre Washington posted five receptions for 24 yards on six targets in Week 3 against the Washington Redskins and he had one rush for no gain.

Huddle Up: Washington can be an effective change of pace back for the Raiders when they need a spark, but they need way more in this game. The Raiders offense was horrendous. They'll look to rebound in Week 4 at Denver in another tough matchup. Washington is only worth using in deeper PPR leagues as long as Marshawn Lynch remains healthy.

Oakland Raiders RB DeAndre Washington averaged 5.4 yards per carry in 2016 and was tied for sixth in the NFL with seven runs of 20-plus yards on 87 carries.

Huddle Up: Washington showed intriguing potential in limited action. If Latavius Murray signs elsewhere this offseason, Washington's fantasy value should skyrocket.

Oakland Raiders RB DeAndre Washington is benefitting from being deactivated earlier in the year because he was able to take care of his body and learn the offense, according to OT Donald Penn.

Huddle Up: Washington had a big performance in Week 16, and while he has been too inconsistent to trust in the finale, he will be a sleeper candidate heading into 2017, especially in dynasty formats.

  • Posted: 12/24/2016 7:56pm ET

Oakland Raiders RB DeAndre Washington posted 99 rushing yards on 12 runs with two touchdowns in the Week 16 game against the Indianapolis Colts. He added one reception for 18 yards.

Huddle Up: Washington scored the first two touchdowns of his NFL career. He might continue to see a larger role going forward, and he is a sleeper fantasy option heading into the 2017 season.
