Oakland Raiders RB Jalen Richard rushed six times for 95 yards and caught three passes for 31 yards in a 40-33 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 13.

Huddle Up: You can't bank on Richard being this efficient with his carries, but his role on passing downs isn't going anywhere. He's can help out as a flex option in PPR formats.

Oakland Raiders RB Jalen Richard caught two passes for 15 yards against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 12. He also rushed for one yard on one carry during the game.

Huddle Up: Richard struggled against a tough Ravens defense but should continue to be involved in the running and passing game moving forward. He should have more success next week and can be a flex option in some point-per-reception leagues.

Oakland Raiders RB Jalen Richard rushed 11 times for 61 yards and caught three passes for 32 yards in a 23-21 win over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 11.

Huddle Up: Richard was one of three Oakland backs who logged double-digit carries, but he led the team in rushing while also contributing in the passing game. His receiving ability makes him a potential flex option in PPR formats.

Oakland Raiders RB Jalen Richard rushed three times for seven yards in the Week 10 game against the Los Angeles Chargers and he added five grabs for 52 yards on six targets.

Huddle Up: Richard is a solid RB3 or flex fantasy option in PPR leagues, as he has three or more grabs and at least 38 receiving yards in seven consecutive outings. He has minimal appeal in standard play, however. The Raiders battle the Cardinals in Week 11.

Oakland Raiders RB Jalen Richard rushed twice for 14 yards and caught eight passes for 50 yards in a 42-28 loss to the Indianapolis Colts in Week 8.

Huddle Up: Richard came into Week 8 averaging more than five catches per game, and his role in the passing attack gives him some flex appeal in PPR formats.

  • Posted: 10/27/2018 6:33pm ET

Oakland Raiders RB Jalen Richard is averaging 5.2 receptions per game and is on pace for 83 catches this season.

Huddle Up: Facing a Colts team in Week 8 that ranks 10th in points per game but 24th in points allowed, Richard could have some flex potential in PPR formats in what has the potential to be a high-scoring affair.

  • Posted: 10/19/2018 2:58pm ET

Oakland Raiders RB Jalen Richard is expected to see a bump in workload with RB Marshawn Lynch (groin) sidelined. Richard has just three touches when the team is leading, and 39 touches when tied or trailing, but that is expected to change with just RB Doug Martin standing in the way.

Huddle Up: Richard will likely see plenty of targets out of the backfield, as he has shown good hands in the past. Doug Martin is currently projected to be the lead back heading out of the bye in Week 8, but many expect Richard to be the biggest winner in terms of fantasy value in the Oakland backfield.

Oakland Raiders RB Jalen Richard rushed twice for three yards in Week 6 against the Seattle Seahawks in London, but he added team highs with seven grabs, 48 yards and eight targets.

Huddle Up: The Raiders had an ugly offensive performance, and Richard was the beneficary with short stuff out of the backfield after the team abandoned the run with the game starting to get out of hand in the second half. Oakland has a bye in Week 7.

  • Posted: 9/10/2018 10:53pm ET

Oakland Raiders RB Jalen Richard rushed five times for 24 yards in the Week 1 game against the Los Angeles Rams and he added nine receptions for 55 yards on 11 targets.

Huddle Up: Richard led the running backs with 14 total touches to 13 for Marshawn Lynch and six for Doug Martin. It shouldn't be indicative of the plan going forward, however, as Richard was used on a lot of safety-valve stuff on quick hitters in the second half with the team trailing. He'll see his share of touches, but they were inflated in this one due to the lopsided nature of the game. Treat him more as a RB4 in PPR formats heading into Week 2 against the Broncos.
