Buffalo Bills QB Nathan Peterman (concussion) was listed as a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Dec. 13.

Huddle Up: Peterman looks less likely to play than Tyrod Taylor (knee), who was back as a full participant. It appears Peterman is going to be the backup against the Miami Dolphins and has no fantasy appeal at this time.

Buffalo Bills QB Nathan Peterman (concussion) will practice on a limited basis Wednesday, Dec. 13.

Huddle Up: Tyrod Taylor (knee) is expected to return under center this week against the Miami Dolphins. Neither are starting options in fantasy.

Buffalo Bills QB Nathan Peterman (head) went 5-for-10 for 57 yards and one touchdown against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 14 before he left the game because of a head injury.

Huddle Up: Peterman may have suffered a concussion during the game, so owners should check on his status in the next day or two. Tyrod Taylor will be the Bills starting quarterback when he is healthy but can be avoided in most leagues.

Buffalo Bills QB Nathan Peterman (head) left the team's Week 14 game early and is being evaluated for a head injury.

Huddle Up: Owners should monitor the situation to see if Peterman will miss any playing time because of the injury. Tyrod Taylor is dealing with a knee injury but may be able to play in Week 15. Joe Webb probably would be the starting quarterback if both Peterman and Taylor are sidelined. Owners may want to avoid all of the Bills quarterbacks for now.

Buffalo Bills QB Nathan Peterman received all the first-team reps in practice this week, and Sal Maiorana of the Democrat and Chronicle said it would be 'utterly shocking' if Peterman wasn't the starter against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 14.

Huddle Up: Peterman's first start was a turnover-filled disaster, so even if he does receive the start, he is impossible to trust in Week 14 despite a decent matchup.

  • Posted: 12/8/2017 7:34am ET

Buffalo Bills QB Nathan Peterman could start in Week 14 in place of QB Tyrod Taylor (knee) against the Indianapolis Colts.

Huddle Up: Peterman threw four picks in his only start and has no fantasy appeal in single-year leagues.

  • Posted: 12/3/2017 1:51pm ET

Buffalo Bills QB Nathan Peterman completed six of his 15 pass attempts for 50 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 13 against the New England Patriots.

Huddle Up: Peterman was thrust into action when Tyrod Taylor (knee) was carted off. Peterman was sacked once, but didn't throw any interceptions or lose any fumbles. It's uncertain if Taylor will be forced to miss additional time, but if so, Peterman has shown he isn't someone to rely upon in fantasy.

Buffalo Bills QB Nathan Peterman completed six of his 14 passes for 66 yards, no touchdowns and five interceptions in Week 11 against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Huddle Up: Peterman was inserted into the starting lineup for Tyrod Taylor, but he was so bad that Sean McDermott went back to Taylor to finish the game. The rookie likely won't get a chance again unless Taylor is injured. The Bills travel to meet the Chiefs in Week 12.

Buffalo Bills QB Nathan Peterman will start in Week 11 against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Huddle Up: The Bolts have been one of the better teams in defending the quarterback position the last five weeks. Peterman holds little fantasy appeal this week, and Tyrod Taylor can be dropped.

  • Posted: 8/31/2017 7:56pm ET

Buffalo Bills QB Nathan Peterman completed 9-of-11 passes for 81 yards in the club's preseason finale Thursday, August 31, versus the Detroit Lions. He did not record any touchdowns or interceptions in the effort.

Huddle Up: If Peterman gets the nod in Week 1, he'll have as winnable a matchup as he could possibly have going up against the Jets, but it's hard to recommend him for any league that implements one starting quarterback. Overall, Peterman finished up the preseason 43-of-79 (54.4 percent) for 453 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions. In other words, owners can find a better option.

Buffalo Bills QB Nathan Peterman's accuracy and timing of his throws and his 'ability to work under center' stood out, according to head coach Sean McDermott. 'It's not something you see often in the college game,' McDermott said.

Huddle Up: Coming from a pro-style offense, Peterman could make a quicker transition to the NFL game than a lot of rookies. Tyrod Taylor is running the show in Buffalo for now, but Peterman could have his chance in a couple of years. He is worth stashing in dynasty formats.

The Buffalo Bills selected Pittsburgh QB Nathan Peterman with the No. 171 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft Saturday, April 29.

Huddle Up: As long as Tyrod Taylor remains healthy and in favor, Peterman is an afterthought in 2017. He should battle Cardale Jones for the backup role and enter the mix for 2018 when Taylor's deal offers an out. When Peterman is given a shot, he has the tools to develop into a serviceable fantasy starter.
