Huddle Up: While tight ends generally take a year two to make a consistent impact, Fant's athleticism and ability to line up out wide could speed up the process. At the very least, he figures to be a viable weapon in the red zone, and he should have value as a touchdown-dependent TE2 in redraft leagues.

Huddle Up: Even as a rookie, Fant figures to finish as the Broncos' most productive fantasy tight end, but the time split is problematic, making the first-round pick no more than a low-end TE2.

Huddle Up: Denver has been searching for a tight end for a while, and Fant has the speed and athleticism to create matchup problems. He also a quarterback in Joe Flacco who loves throwing to his tight ends. It could be a recipe for fantasy success, and Fant has a chance to reach TE1 territory sooner rather than later.

Huddle Up: While it is premature to pencil Fant in for elite fantasy production, he does have the speed and athleticism to be a matchup nightmare for defenses. The Broncos need for a playmaker at the position further boosts his stock, and Fant is worth a look as a TE2 in redraft leagues.

Huddle Up: The Broncos have been searching for a weapon at tight end for a while now. Fant's size and athleticism could make him a matchup nightmare in the passing game, especially in the red zone. His production could fluctuate from one week to the next, but his touchdown potential makes him worth a look as a TE2.
