Cincinnati Bengals WR Brandon LaFell (knee) was able to practice on a limited basis Wednesday, Nov. 22.

Huddle Up: LaFell has at least two grabs in each of his past seven games and he has been targeted at least five times in five of his past six. He remains a decent WR4 or WR5 in most PPR fantasy formats, with lesser value in standard play.

  • Posted: 11/17/2017 12:29pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR Brandon LaFell (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 17, but is listed as questionable for Week 11.

Huddle Up: LaFell is coming off a terrific Week 10 performance but will be facing a tougher opponent in the Denver Broncos. He continues to have a solid role in the passing game but can be avoided because of the matchup.

  • Posted: 11/16/2017 3:23pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR Brandon LaFell (knee) was upgraded to limited at practice Thursday, Nov. 16.

Huddle Up: LaFell is coming off by far his best game of the campaign, when he recorded six catches on 10 targets for 95 yards and his second touchdown of the season, but it's hard recommending him here for one of the toughest possible matchups a receiver can have. LaFell and the Bengals travel to Denver on Sunday, and thus, owners should stay away from the six-year veteran.

  • Posted: 11/15/2017 2:56pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR Brandon LaFell (knee) did not practice Wednesday, Nov. 15.

Huddle Up: LaFell has a tough enough weekend ahead of him as it is versus the Denver Broncos. Adding a knee that's not at full health makes matters worse. His status will need to be monitored for the next few days, but he can't be viewed as more than a flex at this point.

  • Posted: 11/10/2017 3:35pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR Brandon LaFell (hamstring) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 10, and is not on the injury report for Week 10.

Huddle Up: LaFell has been held to under 50 receiving yards in every game this season and should be avoided in all fantasy leagues even though he is one of the Bengals' starting wide receivers.

  • Posted: 11/9/2017 3:51pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR Brandon LaFell (hamstring) was a limited participant in practice for the second consecutive day Thursday, Nov. 9.

Huddle Up: LaFell figures to be out there on Sunday in Tennessee despite his limited practice activity, but that doesn't mean he's worth starting for any format. He's yet to reach 45 receiving yards in a game this season and has just one touchdown to show for his efforts.

  • Posted: 11/8/2017 5:08pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR Brandon LaFell (hamstring) was limited during practice Wednesday, Nov. 8.

Huddle Up: LaFell probably will be able to play this week despite the injury and will continue to be in the starting lineup. He has not posted more than 44 yards in any game this season and should be avoided in all fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 11/5/2017 2:44pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR Brandon LaFell caught two passes for 28 yards against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 9.

Huddle Up: LaFell continues to be a starter for the Bengals but has not posted more than 50 yards in any game this season. He should be avoided in all fantasy leagues even if he receives more targets in Week 10.

  • Posted: 11/3/2017 2:19pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR Brandon LaFell (hamstring) practice in full Friday, Nov. 3, but he is listed as questionable for Week 9 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Huddle Up: LaFell should be considered a WR4 in PPR leagues, and a low-end WR5 in standard play when healthy. His season high in a game, set last week, is just 44 yards, although he has managed at least four catches in three straight outings.

  • Posted: 11/2/2017 11:25am ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR Brandon LaFell (hamstring) participated fully in practice Thursday, Nov. 2.

Huddle Up: LaFell has had a difficult time finding success this season, even when John Ross has been on the sideline. Now that Ross has returned, LaFell may be even less involved in the offense. He can't be trusted as a starter as he has scored just once this year and has not even reached 50 yards in a game yet.

  • Posted: 11/1/2017 1:17pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR Brandon LaFell (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday, Nov. 1, due to a hamstring injury.

Huddle Up: LaFell remains more of a WR4 in PPR leagues when healthy, and a low-end WR5 in standard play.

  • Posted: 10/29/2017 6:14pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR Brandon LaFell racked up four receptions for 44 yards on his five targets in Week 8 against the Indianapolis Colts.

Huddle Up: LaFell posted a season-high yardage total, but that's not saying much. He has posted at least four catches in each of his past three games to make himself useful as a WR5 in deeper PPR leagues, but he isn't worth the bother in standard formats.

  • Posted: 10/8/2017 6:23pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR Brandon LaFell posted five receptions for 32 yards on eight targets in Week 5 against the Buffalo Bills.

Huddle Up: LaFell was limited by a knee during the week, but he didn't seem to have any ill effects of the injury during the game, which was played in rainy conditions, too. That's a good sign, but he still is doing nothing. His 32 yards on Sunday were a season high and he has zero touchdowns through five games, so that tells you a little something about his fantasy value going forward.

  • Posted: 10/5/2017 2:49pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR Brandon LaFell (knee) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 5.

Huddle Up: LaFell has not been a great fantasy option for owners in the last two weeks but likely will hold onto his starting job. Owners in all leagues should be able to find better options and can avoid LaFell.

  • Posted: 10/4/2017 2:06pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR Brandon LaFell (knee) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 4.

Huddle Up: LaFell has only recorded 22 yards combined in his last two games and has only been targeted five times in those games. Owners in all leagues should be able to find better options and can avoid LaFell.

  • Posted: 9/29/2017 5:42pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR Brandon LaFell (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 29, and is not on the injury report for Week 4.

Huddle Up: LaFell was targeted only two times in Week 3 and has posted only 59 yards over three games. He likely will continue to be a starting receiver for the Bengals but can be avoided in all leagues.

  • Posted: 9/28/2017 1:21pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR Brandon LaFell (knee) was limited during practice Thursday, Sept. 28.

Huddle Up: LaFell appears to have a good chance to play in Week 4, but owners will know more about his status later in the week. LaFell was limited to one pass for five yards last week and has not posted more than 30 yards in any of the three games in 2017. Owners in all leagues should be able to find better options to use and can avoid LaFell.

  • Posted: 9/27/2017 1:15pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR Brandon LaFell (knee) was considered a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Sept. 27.

Huddle Up: LaFell has managed a total of eight receptions, failing to take advantage of the absence of rookie John Ross. In fact, he managed just one grab for five yards in Week 3, and that's not helping anyone in fantasy.

  • Posted: 9/10/2017 6:21pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR Brandon LaFell racked up three catches for 24 yards on five targets in Week 1 against Baltimore.

Huddle Up: LaFell is second in the pecking order in Cincinnati for receptions and that's exactly where he slotted behind A.J. Green. It was an ugly game all around for the Bengals offense. Expect some improvement from LaFell heading into Week 2 against the Texans.

  • Posted: 7/7/2017 1:26pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR Brandon LaFell likely will make the 53-man roster this season because it would leave at least $3 million of dead money on the salary cap if he was released, in the opinion of ESPN.com's Katherine Terrell. The Bengals also like that LaFell has a mentor-like relationship with WR A.J. Green.

Huddle Up: LaFell should continue to be one of the starting receivers for the Bengals in 2017 but could lose some targets because of the younger receivers on the team. He posted 862 yards and six touchdowns this past season and could be a No. 4 or No. 5 fantasy receiver if he can post similar numbers.

  • Posted: 3/9/2017 7:48pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR Brandon LaFell said he feels he will be even better in 2017 because he is already familiar with QB Andy Dalton and the offense.

Huddle Up: LaFell finished with 862 yards and six touchdowns in his first year in Cincinnati, and if the Bengals don't add any more receivers this offseason, he should be a useful WR4.

  • Posted: 12/25/2016 3:36am ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR Brandon LaFell caught six of his 10 targeted passes for 130 yards and a touchdown in a 12-10 loss to the Houston Texans.

Huddle Up: One of those passes was an 86-yard touchdown effort from Andy Dalton. Take that away and LaFell still has five catches for 44 yards. Not the best numbers, but no slouch either. Keep an eye on LaFell because he and Andy Dalton seem to have developed a rapport in A.J. Green's absence.

  • Posted: 12/15/2016 6:06pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR Brandon LaFell (knee) was a full participant in practice Thursday, Dec. 15.

Huddle Up: LaFell's role in the passing game has been limited, and he could see even fewer touches if A.J. Green returns. You should be able to find a better option than LaFell in Week 15.

  • Posted: 12/9/2016 2:46pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR Brandon LaFell (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 9, and is not on the injury report for Week 14.

Huddle Up: LaFell is coming off one of his best games of the season where he had 95 yards and a touchdown. He will continue to have a solid role in the passing game with A.J. Green out and has a favorable matchup in Week 14. Owners in deeper leagues could consider LaFell as a flex option.

  • Posted: 12/8/2016 6:02pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Brandon LaFell (knee) was a full participant in practice Thursday, Dec. 8.

Huddle Up: With A.J. Green sidelined, LaFell should be one of the main options in the passing game when the Bengals face the Browns in Week 14. Take advantage of the friendly matchup and use him as a flex option.

  • Posted: 12/7/2016 2:00pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR Brandon LaFell (knee) was limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 7.

Huddle Up: LaFell played well in Week 13 and finished with 95 yards and one touchdown on five catches. He will continue to be one of the top receivers for the Bengals while A.J. Green is out and can be a flex option this week against the Cleveland Browns.

  • Posted: 12/4/2016 8:29pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR Brandon LaFell posted five receptions for 95 yards and a touchdown in the Week 13 game against the Philadelphia Eagles. He was targeted a team-high seven times.

Huddle Up: LaFell just missed out on a 100-yard day, but looked solid as the team's No. 1 receiver with A.J. Green still on the shelf. He remains a decent WR3 heading into Week 14.

  • Posted: 11/24/2016 7:16pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR Brandon LaFell (knee) returned to practice and was a full participant Thursday, Nov. 24.

Huddle Up: LaFell should see an uptick in targets in Week 12 with A.J. Green likely out, but he is a shot-in-the-dark play in DFS games.

  • Posted: 11/23/2016 1:37pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR Brandon LaFell (knee) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Nov. 23.

Huddle Up: Owners will need to check on LaFell's status later in the week to see if he is in danger of missing Week 12. He should receive more targets with A.J. Green sidelined but has been held to 47 yards in the last three games. He could be a flex option in deeper leagues if he plays, but owners in most leagues should be able to find better options.
