  • Posted: 12/30/2018 1:53pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB Chris Ivory rushed 14 times for 45 yards in Week 17 against the Miami Dolphins and he added a 46-yard grab on his only target.

Huddle Up: Ivory finished with 385 rushing yards and a touchdown with 13 catches, 205 yards and no scores through the air. He is a backup at this point as he is now 30 and on the downside of his career. Heading into 2019 he is only a depth player in PPR formats in deeper leagues.

  • Posted: 12/28/2018 2:40pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB Chris Ivory (shoulder) practiced in full Friday, Dec. 28 for the third consecutive day and he is listed as questionable for Week 17 against the Miami Dolphins.

Huddle Up: If Ivory is able to play he could split the work with LeSean McCoy in a rather meaningless game for both teams. However, with temperatures around the freezing mark with breezy conditions, the run game might be used more than the pass attack. Ivory could be useful as a cost saver in DFS play, but seasonal players will want to avoid him.

  • Posted: 12/26/2018 5:03pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB Chris Ivory (shoulder) appears to have a good chance to play in the Week 17 game, according to head coach Sean McDermott.

Huddle Up: Ivory likely will serve as the backup running back if he plays in the Week 17 game and can be benched in most fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 12/26/2018 1:26pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB Chris Ivory (shoulder) was able to practice in full Wednesday, Dec. 26.

Huddle Up: Ivory might be able to suit up for the regular-season finale against the Dolphins, but it's likely his touches will be limited and therefore so will his fantasy appeal.

  • Posted: 12/23/2018 6:00am ET

Buffalo Bills RB Chris Ivory (shoulder) appears unlikely to play in Week 16's game against the New England Patriots due to a lingering shoulder injury, according to a source.

Huddle Up: This news is somewhat surprising, given that Ivory participated in two full practice sessions and one limited session during the week. LeSean McCoy (hamstring) no longer appears on the injury report and will be active versus the Patriots but he should not be viewed as anything more than a low-end flex option in most fantasy formats.

  • Posted: 12/21/2018 2:20pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB Chris Ivory (shoulder) practiced in full Friday, Dec. 21 and he is listed as questionable for Week 16 against the New England Patriots.

Huddle Up: Ivory is likely to take a back seat or perhaps split carries with LeSean McCoy (hamstring), who is active and off the injury report. Don't bank on Ivory doing very much in terms of fantasy production.

  • Posted: 12/20/2018 12:47pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB Chris Ivory (shoulder) fully participated in practice Thursday, Dec. 20.

Huddle Up: Ivory likely will serve as the backup running back this week if LeSean McCoy is able to play and would only receive a handful of carries. He can be avoided in all leagues unless McCoy is ruled out.

  • Posted: 12/15/2018 9:29pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB Chris Ivory (shoulder) will be a game-time decision against the Detroit Lions in Week 15, according to a source.

Huddle Up: LeSean McCoy has already been ruled out, so Ivory could be a useful flex option if he is able to suit up.

  • Posted: 12/14/2018 12:50pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB Chris Ivory (shoulder) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 14, but is listed as questionable for Week 15.

Huddle Up: Ivory likely will be able to play this week but his offensive role is still uncertain at this point. He likely will start if LeSean McCoy is not able to play and could be a No. 2 running back or flex option if he receives most of the work at running back. He probably can be avoided in leagues if McCoy is able to play.

  • Posted: 12/13/2018 12:45pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB Chris Ivory (shoulder) fully participated in practice Thursday, Dec. 13.

Huddle Up: Ivory's fantasy value will depend on LeSean McCoy's status for the game. Ivory could be a No. 2 running back or flex option if McCoy is not able to play but probably could be benched if McCoy plays.

  • Posted: 12/12/2018 12:16pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB Chris Ivory (shoulder) was a full participant in practice Wednesday, Dec. 12.

Huddle Up: Ivory will only be worth starting in a flex spot if LeSean McCoy were to be ruled out.

  • Posted: 12/10/2018 2:06pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB Chris Ivory (shoulder) is considered day-to-day because of a shoulder injury.

Huddle Up: Owners will need to monitor the situation during practice this week since Ivory could start in Week 15 if he plays and LeSean McCoy is ruled out. Ivory could be a low-end No. 2 running back or flex option in standard leagues if he receives the start.

  • Posted: 12/9/2018 2:57pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB Chris Ivory rushed for 42 yards on 12 carries against the New York Jets in Week 14.

Huddle Up: Ivory could receive the start next week if LeSean McCoy is not able to play, which will help his fantasy value. He can be at least a flex option in standard leagues if he receives most of the carries.

  • Posted: 11/9/2018 8:04am ET

Buffalo Bills RB Chris Ivory (shoulder) will be limited in practice Friday, Nov. 9.

Huddle Up: Ivory offers very little upside and shouldn't be played against the New York Jets.

  • Posted: 10/29/2018 8:31pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB Chris Ivory rushed six times for a team-high 34 yards in Week 8 against the New England Patriots on Monday, Oct. 29, and he added one grab for 11 yards on two targets.

Huddle Up: LeSean McCoy was going nowhere fast, rushing 12 times for 13 yards. Despite the disparity in average yards per attempt, Ivory isn't likely to unseat Shady at the top of the depth chart anytime soon. His fantasy value remains very low.

  • Posted: 10/27/2018 10:51am ET

Buffalo Bills RB Chris Ivory (hamstring) fully participated in practice Saturday, Oct. 27, and is not on the injury report for Week 8.

Huddle Up: Ivory could receive most of the work at running back if LeSean McCoy is not able to play. Owners will need to check the inactive list before the game because Ivory could be a flex option for owners depending on his touches.

  • Posted: 10/27/2018 9:55am ET

Buffalo Bills RB Chris Ivory (hamstring) is expected to play in the Week 8 game even though he is dealing with hamstring injury.

Huddle Up: Ivory could receive the start this week if LeSean McCoy is not clearer to play, so owners should monitor the situation over the next few days. He can be considered a flex option in leagues if McCoy is ruled out.

  • Posted: 10/21/2018 1:23pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB Chris Ivory rushed for 81 yards on 16 carries against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 7. He also caught three passes for 25 yards during the game.

Huddle Up: Ivory could receive the start next week if LeSean McCoy is not able to play, so owners will need to monitor the situation during the week. Ivory could be a flex option in some leagues if he receives most of the carries in Week 8.

  • Posted: 10/7/2018 1:32pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB Chris Ivory rushed 14 times for 43 yards in Week 5 against the Tennessee Titans.

Huddle Up: Ivory saw a healthy amount of touches on a day Josh Allen and the passing game just wasn't getting it done, but he didn't really take advantage. He remains nothing more than a WR4 in PPR fantasy leagues at this point. The Bills meet the Texans on the road in Week 6.

  • Posted: 9/23/2018 1:18pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB Chris Ivory rushed 20 times for 56 yards while adding a team-high 70 receiving yards on three receptions in Week 3 against the Minnesota Vikings.

Huddle Up: Ivory did a good job on his 23 total touches, subbing for the injury LeSean McCoy in style. If Shady remains sidelined in Week 4 on the road against the Green Bay Packers then Ivory will be a solid RB3 or flex option in most fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 9/16/2018 2:50pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB Chris Ivory rushed for seven yards and one touchdown on two carries against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 2. He also caught one pass for 30 yards during the game.

Huddle Up: Ivory could receive a start next week if LeSean McCoy is ruled out. He could be a possible flex option next week if he starts but would not be a strong option.

  • Posted: 8/26/2018 6:41pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB Chris Ivory rushed three times for 31 yards in a 26-13 preseason loss to the Cincinnati Bengals Sunday, Aug. 26.

Huddle Up: With LeSean McCoy nursing a groin injury and potentially dealing with issues off the field at some point, Ivory is a smart add later in drafts. If McCoy misses time, Ivory should vault into flex territory as the early-down back in Buffalo's run-heavy offense.

  • Posted: 7/12/2018 8:46am ET

Buffalo Bills RB Chris Ivory would be the first option at the position if RB LeSean McCoy is not available.

Huddle Up: Shady is embattled in an off-the-field issue, and there's always the chance that the league acts. Due to previous litmus tests, McCoy's situation will probably drag out long enough to avoid ramifications before the beginning of the season. Ivory is on the apex between RB3 and RB4 status in fantasy.

  • Posted: 3/6/2018 7:45am ET

Free-agent RB Chris Ivory (Jaguars) is expected to sign a two-year deal with the Buffalo Bills Tuesday, March 6.

Huddle Up: Ivory will presumably be the short-yardage back for Shady McCoy. He'll have more value in TD-only leagues and be a RB4 in traditional formats.

  • Posted: 2/27/2018 5:25am ET

Free-agent RB Chris Ivory (Jaguars) visited with the Buffalo Bills Monday, Feb. 26, according to a source.

Huddle Up: Ivory can still be productive, but he's a situational back with a lengthy injury history. He'll be a committee back with RB4 potential in fantasy.
