Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton completed 15 of his 25 passes for 154 yards and three touchdowns in a 20-17 win over the Denver Broncos in Week 11.

Huddle Up: Cincinnati's offense remains a work in progress, and despite modest yardage totals, Dalton has delivered multiples touchdowns in four of his last five games. He is worth owning as a fantasy backup.

  • Posted: 11/5/2017 2:17pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton went 10-for-18 for 136 yards against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 9.

Huddle Up: Dalton has been held to under 200 yards in two of his last three games and failed to throw a touchdown pass for the first time in six games. He will be facing a solid Tennessee Titans defense in Week 10 and can be benched if owners have better options.

  • Posted: 10/29/2017 6:08pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton completed 17 of his 29 pass attempts for 243 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 8 against the Indianapolis Colts.

Huddle Up: Dalton started off very slow, but he has tossed at least two touchdowns in four of his past five outings. He is worth using as a QB1 when the matchup is favorable. The Bengals travel to face the Jaguars in Week 9.

  • Posted: 10/28/2017 8:44pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton has attempted 29 passes of 15 or more yards through Week 7, completing eight of them, and he has a passer rating of 66.5 on those throws.

Huddle Up: Dalton's numbers have been trending up under new offensive coordinator Bill Lazor, but big plays continue to be few and far between. He has QB1 potential against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 8, but his value will change weekly depending on the matchup.

  • Posted: 10/27/2017 9:17pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton has thrown multiple touchdowns in three of the four games since Bill Lazor was named the offensive coordinator.

Huddle Up: Dalton could keep the momentum going in Week 8 against an Indianapolis Colts defense that has allowed the second-most passing yards in the NFL. He has QB1 potential this weekend.

  • Posted: 10/20/2017 1:41pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton (ankle) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 20, and has been removed from the Week 7 injury report.

Huddle Up: Dalton has played well since his four-interception game in Week 1 and recorded 328 yards in the last game. He will be facing a tough Pittsburgh Steelers pass defense in Week 7 and can be benched if owners have better options to use.

  • Posted: 10/19/2017 11:32am ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton (ankle) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 19.

Huddle Up: Dalton has thrown for at least 285 yards in each of his last two games but will be facing a tough Pittsburgh Steelers pass defense this week. Owners should be able to find better options to use and can avoid Dalton in Week 7.

  • Posted: 10/18/2017 1:22pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton (ankle) was listed as a full participant in practice Wednesday, Oct. 18.

Huddle Up: Dalton will be facing a stiff test in Week 7 against the Steelers and their No. 1 ranked pass defense, as Pittsburgh has yielded just 153.5 yards per game with four touchdowns and five interceptions through six games. Dalton looks like he will definitely play, but he is not a recommended fantasy option.

  • Posted: 10/8/2017 5:54pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton completed 22 of his 36 pass attempts for 328 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in the Week 5 game against the Buffalo Bills.

Huddle Up: After a shaky start, Dalton has pieced together a few solid outings. He has 614 passing yards over the past two games with seven touchdown passes and two interceptions over the past three outings. He has re-emerged as a top-end QB2 or decent bye-week replacement in most fantasy leagues. The Bengals are off in Week 6 before heading to Pittsburgh in Week 7.

  • Posted: 10/1/2017 1:14pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton went 25-for-30 for 286 yards and four touchdowns against the Cleveland Browns in Week 4. He also rushed for 29 yards on four carries during the game.

Huddle Up: Dalton struggled during the first three weeks but had a breakout game against the Browns. He will be facing a tougher Buffalo Bills defense next week but can be a low-end No. 1 quarterback in most fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 9/24/2017 8:04pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton completed 21 of his 27 pass attempts for 212 yards and two touchdowns in a 27-24 loss to the Green Bay Packers in Week 3.

Huddle Up: Dalton had a brutal first two games, but he was at least serviceable in the first game with Bill Lazor as the offensive coordinator. He may be turning a corner, but he is still no more than a QB2 heading into a Week 4 meeting with the Cleveland Browns.

  • Posted: 9/24/2017 7:23am ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton is not in any imminent danger of losing his starting job, according to sources.

Huddle Up: Dalton has struggled in the first two games this season and has zero touchdowns and four interceptions during that span. He has a solid group of pass catchers to work with and could improve under a new offensive coordinator, but owners in all leagues should avoid him for now.

  • Posted: 9/23/2017 6:36pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton and new offensive coordinator Bill Lazor are not yet at the point where they are speaking the same 'language,' according to Lazor. 'The challenge here right now is making things come out of my mouth real smooth,' Lazor said. 'I can't have any errors.'

Huddle Up: Dalton and the entire Cincinnati offense have been a mess through the first two games. You can give him a couple more weeks to turn things around before sending him to the waiver wire, but he shouldn't be starting in any format against the Packers in Week 3.

  • Posted: 9/14/2017 9:17pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton will remain the starting quarterback, according to head coach Marvin Lewis, who said Dalton's job was not in jeopardy.

Huddle Up: A lot of people liked Cincinnati to bounce back after a disappointing 2016, but through two games they look like one of the NFL's worst teams, and a lot of that starts with Dalton, who has gone consecutive games without passing for a TD since October of 2014. Lewis offered a vote of confidence, but we'll see how long that lasts because if the Bengals don't play better, Lewis' job will be on the line as well. At that point, all bets are off. Dalton, who entered 2017 as a midrange QB2, should stay mired to your bench until further notice.

  • Posted: 9/14/2017 11:20am ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton has a 1-5 record and thrown three touchdowns and seven interceptions in six career games against the Houston Texans.

Huddle Up: Dalton is in dire need of a bounce-back game after a horrendous start in Week 1 in which he threw four interceptions and lost a fumble. Considering Dalton's history against Houston, this may not be the week to bet on that rebound. Keep him on the bench if you have a better option.

  • Posted: 9/10/2017 6:18pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton completed 16 of his 31 pass attempts for 170 yards, no touchdowns and four interceptions in the Week 1 loss against the Ravens.

Huddle Up: The Red Rifle finished with a quarterback rating of just 28.4, which is not exactly the type of start he or his fantasy owners envisioned. He is a borderline fantasy play heading into Week 2 against the Texans on a short week.

  • Posted: 5/18/2017 6:34pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals RB Joe Mixon's versatility will make it harder for defenses to know what the offense is doing, according to QB Andy Dalton.

Huddle Up: Mixon could displace Jeremy Hill for touches sooner rather than later, and he could become a solid flex play by the end of the year. Draft him as a high-upside RB4, and grab him in the first round in rookie drafts.

  • Posted: 12/25/2016 12:45am ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton threw 28-for-41 for 268 yards, one touchdown and one interception in a 12-10 loss to the Houston Texans.

Huddle Up: Dalton's completion numbers early on were excellent, but he wasn't getting much yardage. The bulk of his effective work came in the second half. It's only fair to note Houston wasn't much better, but Dalton's struggles have kind of removed the QB1 label for the time being. If you start Dalton, you better have another very effective QB on your roster.

  • Posted: 12/18/2016 3:05pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton threw 16-of-27 for 157 yards and one interception in a 24-20 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Huddle Up: Dalton has had plenty of struggles this season, part of which come from four games (two apiece) against teams like the Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens.

  • Posted: 12/11/2016 1:37pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton was 20-for-28 for 180 yards and two touchdowns in a 23-10 win over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, Dec. 11.

Huddle Up: Dalton didn't need to be overpowering, as the Bengals were going up against Cleveland in a rivalry game. Too bad the Browns are hamstrung on both offense and defense. Dalton was as effective as he could be and remains a decent option going forward.

  • Posted: 12/4/2016 8:30pm ET

Cleveland Browns QB Andy Dalton completed 23 of his 31 pass attempts for 332 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in the Week 13 game against the Philadelphia Eagles. He also rushed twice for nine yards.

Huddle Up: Dalton fared pretty well against a good pass defense, especially considering he continues to operate the offense without his biggest weapon A.J. Green. He should continue his solid play in Week 14 against a poor Cleveland Browns pass defense, assuming weather isn't a factor.

  • Posted: 11/27/2016 1:51pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton was 26-of-48 for 283 yards Sunday, Nov. 27, in a 19-12 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Dalton fumbled the ball three times and lost two.

Huddle Up: Dalton is a low QB1 but plays better as a QB2. He went over 3,000 yards in this game and has 12 touchdowns and just six interceptions. Dalton is the type of QB that gets the job done without too much flash or pizzazz.

  • Posted: 11/24/2016 7:12pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton (shoulder) was a full participant in practice Thursday, Nov. 24.

Huddle Up: Dalton should suit up in Week 12, but he is a QB2 in Week 12 with his top target, A.J. Green, expected to be sidelined.

  • Posted: 11/23/2016 1:40pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton (shoulder) was limited during practicr Wednesday, Nov. 23.

Huddle Up: Dalton likely will be able to play against the Baltimore Ravens this week but will be without A.J. Green and Giovani Bernard. Dalton has posted decent numbers this season but should be considered a No. 2 quarterback in most leagues and should not be started.
