Free-agent WR Kendall Wright (Titans) agreed to terms on a one-year, $4 million contract with the Tennessee Titans on Saturday, March 11.

Huddle Up: Considering how injury-prone Kevin White has been over his first two seasons and relatively unproven Cameron Meredith still is, Wright has a chance to lead the Bears in receiving this season if he can stay healthy. At worst, the ex-Titan should be a dependable slot option for Mike Glennon. Wright should be worthy of WR5 consideration in redraft leagues this summer.

Impending free-agent Kendall Wright 'could be a good pick-up at a cheap price,' according to the Denver Post's Cameron Wolfe.

Huddle Up: While Wolfe is merely speculating, the fit makes sense for both sides. Denver really hasn't had a serviceable slot receiver since Wes Welker, while Wright has shown he is capable of working in between the numbers and would give the Broncos another threat besides Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders. Wright is almost certain to leave the Tennessee Titans in the offseason. Wright is coming off his third straight disappointing season following his 94-catch campaign in 2013 and should be affordable.

  • Posted: 1/4/2017 9:28pm ET

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright has an expiring contract, and he said he doesn't believe he is in the team's plans for 2017. 'I'll be glad to see what I can do and make a team fall in love with me and go and do what I know I can do,' Wright said.

Huddle Up: Wright became an afterthought in Tennessee's offense, but he produced early in his career when given a featured role. If he lands in the right situation, he could make a fantasy impact in 2017.

  • Posted: 10/28/2016 12:02pm ET

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright will remain a rotational wide receiver, according to head coach Mike Mularkey, who called Wright 'a very good slot receiver, third-down receiver'.

Huddle Up: Despite what appears to be a resurgent season for the Titans, their stance on Wright is baffling, as Wright has delivered two huge games in his last three outings. Camp favorite Tajae Sharpe has disappointed, Rishard Matthews is likely a good complementary receiver at best and Andre Johnson has seen his snaps scaled back, leaving Delanie Walker and DeMarco Murray as the team's top receiving threat. Wright is an upside WR4, but that will be his ceiling until Mularkey changes his mind.

  • Posted: 10/27/2016 9:08pm ET

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright had four catches for 84 yards, including a 36-yard touchdown, in a 36-22 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars Thursday, Oct. 27.

Huddle Up: Wright has had two big games and three duds this year, making him more appealing as a DFS sleeper than a standard league play.

  • Posted: 10/16/2016 2:42pm ET

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright caught eight passes for 133 yards, including a 48-yard touchdown, in a 28-26 win Sunday, Oct. 16, against the Cleveland Browns.

Huddle Up: Just like Delanie Walker has become Mariota's favorite tight end, Wright looks like he's in favor as a top WR in the Tennessee lineup. Don't go too crazy over this performance since it was Cleveland, but he's still a decent wideout.

  • Posted: 9/30/2016 8:35pm ET

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright is expected to provide a boost to the offense because of his quickness, according to offensive coordinator Terry Robiskie.

Huddle Up: Tennessee is still looking for a go-to playmaker at the receiver position, so Wright has a chance to carve out a role. His role is unclear at this point, but he is worth keeping an eye on, particularly in PPR formats.

  • Posted: 9/30/2016 2:54pm ET

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (hamstring) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 30, and is not on the injury report for Week 4.

Huddle Up: Wright should be active for the team's Week 4 game but could receive limited snaps since it will be his first game of the season. Owners probably will want to see him play in a game before considering him for their starting lineups.

  • Posted: 9/26/2016 4:52pm ET

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (hamstring) said he hopes to play against the Houston Texans in Week 4. Head coach Mike Mularkey said Wright should be a full participant during practice this week.

Huddle Up: Wright has missed all three games so far this season, so his role on offense is uncertain at this point. He could see limited snaps if he is active for Week 4 and probably will not be a great fantasy option.

  • Posted: 9/25/2016 9:23am ET

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (hamstring) has been declared inactive for the team's Week 3 game.

Huddle Up: Wright will have to wait at least one more week before he can make his 2016 debut. Tajae Sharpe and Rishard Matthews probably will receive most of the targets during the game and could be flex option for fantasy owners.

  • Posted: 9/23/2016 5:36pm ET

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (hamstring) was limited during practice Friday, Sept. 23, and is listed as questionable for Week 3.

Huddle Up: Owners will need to check the inactive list to see if Wright will be able to play. He should have a role in the passing game when he returns, but owners may want to see him play in a game before using him in their lineups.

  • Posted: 9/22/2016 5:45pm ET

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (hamstring) remained a limited participant in practice Thursday, Sept. 22.

Huddle Up: Even if Wright is able to make his season debut in Week 3, he isn't likely to have a substantial role in the offense. Leave him on the waiver wire for now.

  • Posted: 9/21/2016 5:06pm ET

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (hamstring) was limited during practice Wednesday, Sept. 21.

Huddle Up: Wright missed the first two weeks of the season because of the injury but may be able to play in Week 3. He probably will receive limited snaps if he is active for the game and would not be a great fantasy option.

  • Posted: 9/15/2016 9:48am ET

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (hamstring) probably will not play in Week 2 even though he was limited during practice Wednesday, Sept. 14, according to head coach Mike Mularkey.

Huddle Up: The Titans probably want to see Wright fully participate in multiple practices before allowing him to play. Wright could have a chance to play in Week 3, but owners should avoid using him this week.

  • Posted: 9/14/2016 5:01pm ET

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (hamstring) was limited during practice Wednesday, Sept. 14.

Huddle Up: Wright missed the first game but is making progress in his recovery, so owners should monitor the situation. He probably will be limited if he is active for Week 2 and owners may want to wait to see him play in a game before considering him an option for their lineup.

  • Posted: 9/12/2016 5:56pm ET

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (hamstring) will not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 14, but head coach Mike Mularkey said he hopes Wright feels better in a few days.

Huddle Up: Wright missed Week 1 because of the injury and probably is questionable at best for Week 2. He should have a role in the passing game when he is healthy, but owners should avoid him until he is back on the field.

  • Posted: 9/9/2016 12:22pm ET

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (hamstring) did not participate in practice Friday, Sept. 9, and has been ruled out for Week 1.

Huddle Up: There is no timetable for Wright's return, so owners can avoid him until he is back on the field. Delanie Walker, Tajae Sharpe and Rishard Matthews should be the main targets in the passing game in Week 1. Walker should be a starting option in all leagues, while Sharpe and Matthews are solid flex options in deeper leagues and some daily fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 9/8/2016 11:43am ET

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (hamstring) did not participate in practice Thursday, Sept. 8.

Huddle Up: Wright is expected to miss at least Week 1 and there is no timetable for his return, so owners should look for other options. Tajae Sharpe, Rishard Matthews and Delanie Walker should receive most of the targets in the passing game and could be decent starting options in leagues.

  • Posted: 9/7/2016 5:27pm ET

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (hamstring) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 7.

Huddle Up: Wright has been dealing with the hamstring over the last few weeks and probably will not be able to play in Week 1. Owners in all leagues should be able to find better options for their lineups.

  • Posted: 8/29/2016 3:43pm ET

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (hamstring) strained his hamstring again in practice Monday, Aug. 29. He will not play in the final preseason game against the Miami Dolphins Thursday, Sept. 1.

Huddle Up: Wright just can't get past his hamstring issues. If/when he does return he'll surely still play behind at least Tajae Sharpe and Rishard Matthews, and possibly also Andre Johnson. Wright is no more than a late-round flier with added value in PPR leagues.

  • Posted: 8/9/2016 9:18pm ET

Updating a previous item, Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright will miss a couple more weeks after an MRI revealed fluid in his hamstring.

Huddle Up: He could still be back a couple weeks before the real games begin, but this is just another layer of concern for Wright given the Titans' deep WR corps.

  • Posted: 8/4/2016 8:26am ET

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright has been working as the slot receiver with the first-team offense during the early part of training camp and has made several solid catches during practice.

Huddle Up: Wright appears to have a good chance to have a solid role in the passing game in 2016 if he continues to perform well during practice. He could be a late-round option in fantasy drafts but may be used only against favorable matchups.

  • Posted: 8/2/2016 3:26pm ET

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright tweaked his hamstring in practice Tuesday, Aug. 2. Titans head coach Mike Mularkey said the injury isn't serious.

Huddle Up: Sure it's another early-camp hammy issue, but this is a big season for Wright, who is coming off a career-worst 36-408-3 campaign while playing in only 10 games.

  • Posted: 7/15/2016 1:55pm ET

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright has been told he needs to improve his route running and is expected to be used as a slot receiver.

Huddle Up: Wright's receptions, yards and games played have decreased every season over the last three -- with 2015 producing a 36-408-3 stat line -- but if everything pans out, a bounce-back season could have him challenging for lWR2 status.
