New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (shoulder) was limited during practice Thursday, Dec. 14.

Huddle Up: Hogan is coming off a disappointing Week 14 performance but should play better this week against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He can be a No. 3 receiver or a flex option in most leagues because the Steelers pass defense has struggled at times over the last few weeks.

  • Posted: 12/13/2017 3:16pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (shoulder) was limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 13.

Huddle Up: Hogan returned to the lineup in Week 14 but was held to one catch for five yards during the game. He should have a better game against the Pittsburgh Steelers this week and can be a No. 3 receiver or flex option.

  • Posted: 12/11/2017 10:33pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan registered only a single one-yard reception on five targets in the team's Week 14 defeat Monday, Dec. 11, opposite the Miami Dolphins.

Huddle Up: Hogan was questionable entering the contest and apparently he's still not fully healthy, as this was a complete dud after the 29-year-old sat out the last handful of games. He'll have a chance to redeem himself in what should be a high-scoring matchup next week with the Steelers, but this is definitely concerning after he couldn't even be a factor with Rob Gronkowski out. Gronk is back next week, which may make it difficult for Hogan to get back in rhythm.

  • Posted: 12/11/2017 4:14pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (shoulder) is officially active for the team's Week 14 game.

Huddle Up: Hogan returns after missing the last few games because of his injury and should have a solid role in the passing game. He could see a few more targets with Rob Gronkowski suspended. Hogan can be considered a decent No. 3 fantasy receiver in all fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 12/11/2017 8:44am ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (shoulder) will play Monday, Dec. 11, after missing four games with a shoulder injury, according to a source.

Huddle Up: Hogan is a flex option against the Miami Dolphins if you have yet to fill that slot.

  • Posted: 12/10/2017 9:05am ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (shoulder) is traveling with the team for their Week 14 game against the Miami Dolphins, according to a source.

Huddle Up: Hogan appears to be on track to play against the Dolphins, but owners will need to check the inactive list for his official status. He could see more targets than usual with Rob Gronkowski out of the lineup. Owners in most leagues could consider Hogan as a No. 3 fantasy receiver.

  • Posted: 12/9/2017 1:12pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (shoulder) was limited during practice Saturday, Dec. 9, and is listed as questionable for Week 14.

Huddle Up: Hogan appears to have a decent chance to return to the lineup after missing the last few games. Owners will need to keep an eye on the situation for a better idea of his status. He is a risky option since the Patriots play on Monday Night Football but could be a No. 3 receiver or a flex option if he plays.

  • Posted: 12/8/2017 2:35pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (shoulder) was limited during practice Friday, Dec. 8.

Huddle Up: Hogan has a good chance to return to the lineup after a few games off as long as he does not suffer a setback. He could see more targets than usual if he plays because of Rob Gronkowski's suspension. He could be at least a flex option for owners if he is active.

  • Posted: 12/7/2017 2:25pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (shoulder) was limited during practice Thursday, Dec. 7.

Huddle Up: Hogan appears to have a decent chance to play against the Miami Dolphins, but owners will need to monitor the situation. He can be a decent fantasy option if he plays, but owners could consider healthier options for their lineup because of his uncertain status.

  • Posted: 12/6/2017 6:05pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (shoulder) participated in practice Wednesday, Dec. 6.

Huddle Up: Hogan has missed the last several games but may be able to play against the Miami Dolphins this week. He will be a risky option since the Patriots play on Monday Night Football, but he could see more targets if he plays since Rob Gronkowski is suspended.

  • Posted: 12/6/2017 10:55am ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (shoulder) was spotted at practice Wednesday, Dec. 6 - his first known team activity since suffering a shoulder injury in Week 8.

Huddle Up: The Patriots do not have to file an official injury report until Thursday because they play on Monday night in Week 14, but this is encouraging news regardless. New England could certainly hold him out with the expectation it should be able to beat the Miami Dolphins without him and save him for Week 15 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but Rob Gronkowski's one-game suspension figures to eliminate that possibility. If Hogan plays, he should be considered a high-upside WR3 considering the lengthy absence.

  • Posted: 11/30/2017 1:24pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (shoulder) was absent from practice Thursday, Nov. 30.

Huddle Up: Hogan continues to miss practice and, unfortunately, it doesn't look like we'll be treated to a revenge game against his former team, the Buffalo Bills, in Buffalo. As such, Danny Amendola makes for a nice flex play.

  • Posted: 11/29/2017 1:57pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (shoulder) did not practice Wednesday, Nov. 29.

Huddle Up: Hogan has missed a handful of games and it's uncertain when he'll be able to return to game action. He is worth keeping around if you have the roster flexibility, but it might be a good idea to keep him reserved until he can officially return and prove his health in a full game without any setbacks.

  • Posted: 11/24/2017 1:28pm ET

Updating a previous report, New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (shoulder) did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 24, and has been ruled out for Week 12.

Huddle Up: It is not known when Hogan will be able to return to the lineup, so owners should monitor the situation. Danny Amendola could receive some more targets with Hogan sidelined and can be a flex option in point-per-reception leagues.

  • Posted: 11/23/2017 1:18pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (shoulder) did not participate in practice Thursday, Nov. 23.

Huddle Up: It appears like Hogan will miss another game, so owners should look for other options to use in their lineups. Brandin Cooks and Danny Amendola likely will receive most of the targets among the receivers and could be used in fantasy leagues this week.

  • Posted: 11/22/2017 1:32pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (shoulder) did not practice Wednesday, Nov. 22, due to his shoulder injury.

Huddle Up: Hogan was in a sling two weeks ago and he did not suit up for last weekend's contest, so it's probably best to avoid him for fantasy purposes until he can officially return and prove his health in one full game without any setbacks.

  • Posted: 11/17/2017 11:31am ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (shoulder) has been ruled out for Week 11 versus the Oakland Raiders.

Huddle Up: It leaves Brandin Cooks and Rob Gronkowski as potential target hogs in a plus-matchup, although Philip Dorsett could also enjoy some degree of fantasy relevancy in deeper leagues this week as well.

  • Posted: 11/16/2017 11:06am ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (shoulder) missed practice again Thursday, Nov. 16.

Huddle Up: Hogan is not expected to play this week. Rob Gronkowski and Brandin Cooks would be the main beneficiaries in that case, but Danny Amendola (if he plays) and the New England running backs should also be more involved in the passing game. Have a substitute ready for if/when Hogan is ruled out.

  • Posted: 11/15/2017 6:20pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (shoulder) is still in Massachusetts and is receiving treatment on his injured shoulder. The Patriots are practicing in Colorado this week.

Huddle Up: It appears that Hogan will miss at least one more game because of his shoulder, so owners in all leagues should avoid him. Danny Amendola and Martellus Bennett could see more targets in Week 11, but neither player is a strong fantasy option.

  • Posted: 11/10/2017 2:05pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (shoulder) did not practice Friday, Nov. 10, and he has officially been ruled out for Week 10 against the Denver Broncos.

Huddle Up: With Hogan on the mend it will be Danny Amendola stepping up with a larger role this week. He should absorb most of the targets normally taken by Hogan. Treat Amendola as a decent WR3 in most fantasy formats, especially PPR leagues. Phillip Dorsett should also see a larger role and is a sleeper streaming option.

  • Posted: 11/9/2017 3:17pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (shoulder) did not practice for the second consecutive day Thursday, Nov. 9.

Huddle Up: As already reported, Hogan's arm is still in a sling, which would seem to indicate that he has no chance of playing Sunday night in Denver. That means Danny Amendola (knee) is likely to have a more active role, though it's possible he could be inactive as well. If both wideouts don't play, Phillip Dorsett would be an intriguing sleeper option to potentially deploy.

  • Posted: 11/8/2017 7:27pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan's (shoulder) arm is still in a sling.

Huddle Up: This would seem to indicate that Hogan won't be ready for New England's Week 10 affair. As a result, this means more work for the likes of Rob Gronkowski, Brandin Cooks, Danny Amendola and James White is expected. Philip Dorsett will also see an increased role, too, and should have some sleeper appeal for deeper formats.

  • Posted: 11/8/2017 2:46pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (shoulder) missed practice Wednesday, Nov. 8.

Huddle Up: At this point in the week it looks unlikely that Hogan will take the field Sunday night, but there is still time. If Hogan can't go, the Patriots have a deep crop of pass-catchers to make up for him. Brandin Cooks, Rob Gronkowski, Danny Amendola and James White stand to benefit the most.

  • Posted: 11/8/2017 10:11am ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (shoulder) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Nov. 8.

Huddle Up: It's beginning to look like Hogan will miss at least one game despite having the Week 9 bye to try to return from his shoulder injury. Given the secretive nature of the Patriots, there is no timetable for his return yet and all that is known right now is that he does not need surgery. Assuming Hogan sits, Philip Dorsett be in line for more snaps, although he'd be a poor play in fantasy versus the Denver Broncos, making Brandin Cooks the only New England receiver worth using this week.

  • Posted: 11/1/2017 4:10pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (shoulder) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Nov. 1, and was seen with his right arm in a sling.

Huddle Up: Hogan will have the bye week to rest his shoulder, so owners should check on his practice participation next week. Hogan has had a solid role in the Patriots passing game and can be a No. 3 receiver when he is healthy.

  • Posted: 10/31/2017 7:20am ET

Updating previous reports, New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (shoulder) will avoid surgery, according to a source. New England will reevaluate Hogan after the Week 9 bye.

Huddle Up: This is encouraging news for Hogan owners, and those who start Tom Brady. Stay tuned for more information over the next 10 days, but considering the Patriots' history with injuries, we may not hear more before a gameday inactive listing in Week 10.

  • Posted: 10/29/2017 3:23pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (shoulder) is scheduled for an MRI on Monday, Oct. 30, for the injury he suffered in Week 8 against the Los Angeles Chargers, a source said.

Huddle Up: Hogan was hit on the upper right arm and had the arm in a sling after the victory. However, reports indicate that initial optimism is that the injury isn't bad, but tests will work to confirm those hopes.

  • Posted: 10/29/2017 12:54pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (shoulder) suffered a shoulder injury during the team's Week 8 game.

Huddle Up: Owners will need to keep an eye on the situation to see how long Hogan may be sidelined because of the injury. Hogan has been a solid receiver for the Patriots this season, but fantasy owners may need other options available in case Hogan is sidelined for an extended period of time.

  • Posted: 10/23/2017 5:00am ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan caught four of his six targeted passes for 71 yards in a Week 7 win over the Atlanta Falcons.

Huddle Up: Hogan had been hampered in practice by rib issues, but now that he's back to pretty much full speed you can look at Hogan as a No. 3 receiver moving forward.

  • Posted: 10/20/2017 3:03pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (ribs) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 20, and is not on the injury report for Week 7.

Huddle Up: Hogan recorded only one catch and 19 yards last week but should see more targets this week. He can be considered a No. 3 receiver in most fantasy leagues as long as he is active.

  • Posted: 10/19/2017 2:28pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (ribs) was a limited practice participant Thursday, Oct. 19.

Huddle Up: Hogan is coming off what was easily the worst game of his season so far. He has been a touchdown machine, though, and the forecast calls for plenty of touchdowns Sunday night versus the Atlanta Falcons. Assuming Hogan is good to go, he's a solid WR2 play in a potential scorcher.

  • Posted: 10/18/2017 2:31pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (ribs) was limited in practice Wednesday, Oct. 18.

Huddle Up: Hogan is coming off his worst outing of the season and dealing with a rib injury on top of it. There's still plenty of time between now and Sunday night, though, and he and the Patriots are due for a high-scoring affair with the Atlanta Falcons. Assuming Hogan's health isn't an issue, he'll be in low-end WR1 to high-end WR2 territory.

  • Posted: 10/15/2017 1:54pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan caught one pass for 19 yards against the New York Jets in Week 6.

Huddle Up: Hogan saw his four-game touchdown streak snapped this week and was not a big factor in the game. He probably will see more targets next week against the Atlanta Falcons and can be a No. 3 fantasy receiver.

  • Posted: 10/5/2017 9:56pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan was targeted 11 times against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 5, catching eight balls for 74 yards and a touchdown.

Huddle Up: Make it four weeks in a row for Hogan with a TD (and five in four games) as the wideout has emerged as Tom Brady's most reliable target since a quiet Week 1 and a favorite in the red zone. Keep Hogan in your lineup going forward as a solid WR2/WR3.

  • Posted: 10/1/2017 4:15pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan had five catches for 60 yards and a touchdown in a 33-30 loss to the Carolina Panthers.

Huddle Up: Hogan has turned into a good option for fantasy owners thanks to three touchdowns in the past two weeks. Hogan is considered a strong WR2/WR3 option as long as this keeps up.

  • Posted: 9/24/2017 3:02pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan caught four passes for 68 yards and two touchdowns against the Houston Texans in Week 3.

Huddle Up: Hogan has received a bigger role in the passing game since the team lost some receivers to injuries earlier in the year. He should receive a similar workload next week and can be a No. 2 or No. 3 receiver for fantasy owners.

  • Posted: 9/24/2017 6:55am ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (knee) is expected to play in Week 3's game against the Houston Texans.

Huddle Up: Hogan was a limited practice participant throughout the week and was listed as questionable on the injury report. He should be viewed as a solid WR3 or flex option in most fantasy formats.

  • Posted: 9/21/2017 1:41pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (knee) was limited during practice Thursday, Sept. 21.

Huddle Up: Hogan should be active for the team's Week 3 game and likely will be in the starting lineup. He will be facing a banged-up Houston Texans secondary this week and can be a No. 3 receiver or flex option in most fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 9/17/2017 6:55pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan posted five receptions for 78 yards and a touchdown on six targets in Week 2 at New Orleans.

Huddle Up: Hogan certainly made up for his egg laying in Week 1, but a lot of fantasy owners probably went away from him after he managed just eight yards in the opener. The Patriots host the Texans in Week 3.

  • Posted: 8/25/2017 6:45pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan finished with four catches for 70 yards and two touchdowns against the Detroit Lions in the preseason Friday, Aug. 25.

Huddle Up: Hogan was a boom-or-bust option last year, but if Julian Edelman's knee injury turns out to be serious, it would boost his stock. He is in the WR4 range for now.

  • Posted: 8/2/2017 5:39pm ET

Updating a previous report, New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (knee) said he expects to be fine after suffering a knee injury during practice Wednesday, Aug. 2.

Huddle Up: Hogan may miss a day or two of practice, but his injury does not appear to be serious. He is coming off a successful 2016 season where he posted 680 yards and four touchdowns. He should have a solid role in the passing game this season and could be a No. 4 or No. 5 receiver for fantasy owners.

  • Posted: 8/2/2017 8:10am ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (knee) left practice Wednesday, Aug. 2, and was having his knee examined by a trainer.

Huddle Up: Hogan could be a WR3 on a different team, but he'll be a matchup play WR5 if his knee checks out.

  • Posted: 6/16/2017 7:16am ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan has been lining up with WR Brandin Cooks and WR Julian Edelman in three-wide receiver sets.

Huddle Up: Hogan had a modest 38-680-4 line on the season, but he had some big performances in spots. Hogan isn't someone to lean on consistently, but he can be a matchup beast as a WR5.

  • Posted: 2/3/2017 1:26pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (thigh) was limited during practice Friday, Feb. 3, and is listed as questionable for Super Bowl LI.

Huddle Up: Hogan should be in uniform despite the injury and likely will have a solid role in the passing game against the Atlanta Falcons. He should be a top three receiver for the Patriots in 2017 and can be a No. 3 or No. 4 receiver for fantasy owners.

  • Posted: 2/2/2017 3:52pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (thigh) was limited in practice again Thursday, Feb. 2.

Huddle Up: Hogan sustained the thigh ailment in the Divisional Round, but considering he posted his memorable breakout performance the very next week with nine catches for 180 yards and a pair of two touchdowns, he's fine. The former Buffalo Bill could be a real dark horse to win the Super Bowl MVP award.

  • Posted: 2/1/2017 2:54pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (thigh) was limited during practice Wednesday, Feb. 1.

Huddle Up: Hogan has dealt with this injury for a few weeks but is coming off a fantastic AFC Championship performance and will continue to be one of the starting receivers. He should be an attractive option for owners this week and can be considered No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues next season.

  • Posted: 1/27/2017 1:54pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (thigh) was limited during practice Friday, Jan. 27.

Huddle Up: Hogan has dealt with this thigh injury over the last few weeks but has not missed any playing time and is coming off a terrific Divisional round performance. He probably will serve as the No. 2 or No. 3 receiver in the Super Bowl and can be a fantasy option against the Atlanta Falcons. He should have a similar role next season and can be a No. 3 or No. 4 receiver in fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 1/25/2017 1:42pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (thigh) was limited during practice Wednesday, Jan. 25.

Huddle Up: Hogan is coming off an outstanding Divisional round playoff game performance where he finished with 180 yards and two touchdowns. He has become a key contributor in the passing game and can be a No. 2 receiver in fantasy leagues. Hogan should be a top three receiver for the Patriots next season and can be a No. 3 receiver for fantasy owners in 2017.

  • Posted: 1/23/2017 9:25pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan's 180 receiving yards in the AFC Championship Game against the Pittsburgh Steelers are the most ever in a postseason contest by an undrafted player. The previous high was retired WR Steve Watson's 177 yards for the 1984 Denver Broncos.

Huddle Up: Hogan has rapidly become one of the league's best breakout stories, and he's picked the right time to do it. Despite registering only 38 receptions in 15 games for the Patriots during the regular season, the 28-year-old Hogan has accumulated 13 catches across both of New England's playoff bouts, to go along with 275 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. In what will likely be a shootout, Hogan may be on the verge of producing another big stat-line in the Super Bowl.

  • Posted: 1/22/2017 7:05pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan caught nine passes for a game-high 180 yards and two touchdowns Sunday, Jan. 22, against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC Championship Game.

Huddle Up: Pittsburgh had no answer for Hogan in the first half, when he landed seven of his nine receptions and both TDs. The first-year Patriot carved up zone coverage and worked the screen game. He's a WR4 or No. 5 in 2017 fantasy drafts, possessing more worth in non-PPR setups.
