Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley (ankle) will be active Saturday, Jan. 12, against the Los Angeles Rams.

Huddle Up: Beasley hasn't been much of a factor for the Cowboys for the most part. He could be counted on even less today coming off a sprained ankle. Starting him is playing with fire.

  • Posted: 1/12/2019 8:38am ET

The Dallas Cowboys are optimistic that WR Cole Beasley (ankle) will be available for the Divisional Round playoff game versus the Los Angeles Rams Saturday, Jan. 12, according to a source.

Huddle Up: Beasley was listed as questionable on the injury report despite not practicing at all during the week. Assuming that he is active, he should be viewed as a sneaky play in postseason fantasy games despite the tough matchup.

  • Posted: 1/11/2019 10:19am ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley (ankle) is listed as questionable for the the team's divisional-playoff game Saturday, Jan. 12, in Los Angeles, but owner Jerry Jones is optimistic the slot wideout will be able to play. 'My feeling right now is to play with Cole Beasley,' Jones told 105.3 FM The Fan in an interview Friday. 'He's given every indication he can force himself through it. Right now, we're planning on having Cole Beasley.'

Huddle Up: Beasley has had at least three receptions in each of his last four games, but if he can't go or is limited, look for more targets for WRs Michael Gallup and Tavon Austin.

  • Posted: 1/10/2019 11:23am ET

Updating a previous report, Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley (ankle) missed practice Thursday, Jan. 10.

Huddle Up: Beasley is turning into a more pronounced question mark for the divisional round. If he can't play or if his snaps are limited then Michael Gallup would ideally see more looks. He's a sneaky play anyway even in a tough matchup versus the Los Angeles Rams.

  • Posted: 1/10/2019 9:19am ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley (ankle) is uncertain to practice Thursday, Jan. 10, and if he does, head coach Jason Garrett says he'll be limited.

Huddle Up: Beasley was limited to 31 snaps in the wild-card win over the Seahawks, catching all three of his targets for 28 yards, but if he is unable to practice Thursday on what would be a Friday during a normal week, it will be best not to count on him playing Saturday night on L.A.

  • Posted: 1/9/2019 2:46pm ET

Updating a previous report, Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley (ankle) is dealing with a high-ankle sprain which has cost him the first two days of practice this week. The team is hopeful he can suit up Saturday, Jan. 12, against the Los Angeles Rams.

Huddle Up: Beasley turned his ankle in the Wild-Card game win against the Seahawks, joining Allen Hurns (leg) on the sidelines. If Beasley cannot go it would be Michael Gallup, Tavon Austin and Noah Brown pressed into larger roles behind Amari Cooper.

  • Posted: 1/9/2019 8:57am ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley (ankle) will not practice Wednesday, Jan. 9.

Huddle Up: Beasley is iffy for the Divisional game this weekend against the Los Angeles Rams, but he could be a flex option if he's fit to go.

  • Posted: 1/8/2019 10:01am ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley (ankle) was not participating in the open session of the team's practice Tuesday, Jan. 8, but owner Jerry said earlier in the day he was 'positive' Beasley would be able in Saturday's divisional-playoff game against the Los Angeles Rams.

Huddle Up: Despite the owner's optimism, Beasley is dealing with a high-ankle sprain, and we'll have to monitor the situation and see how he's doing later in the week in practice.

  • Posted: 1/5/2019 8:43pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley (ankle) caught all three of his targets for 28 yards against the Seattle Seahawks in the wild-card round Saturday, Jan. 5, despite leaving the game to have his ankle taped.

Huddle Up: Beasley was already having issues with the ankle, and it bent underneath him on his first catch of the game. While he was bale to finish, he looked less than 100 percent. He'll be a risky play in playoff contests going forward.

  • Posted: 1/5/2019 5:26pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley (foot) limped off the field with an apparent aggravation of a lingering foot issue against the Seattle Seahawks Saturday, Jan. 5.

Huddle Up: Beasley's fantasy value has dwindled with the emergence of Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup and the reliance on Ezekiel Elliott and the running game. He's merely a late-round PPR flier for 2019 drafts.

  • Posted: 12/20/2018 1:09pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley (foot) put in a full practice Thursday, Dec. 20.

Huddle Up: Beasley was limited yesterday, so he's good to go. He is just too inconsistent to be started in what is obviously a crucial fantasy week.

  • Posted: 12/19/2018 1:04pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley (foot) practiced on a limited basis Wednesday, Dec. 19.

Huddle Up: The only Dallas wide receiver who can be trusted in a starting lineup is Amari Cooper, but Beasley possesses flex appeal in a tasty home matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

  • Posted: 12/14/2018 1:21pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley (foot) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 14, and is not on the injury report for Week 15.

Huddle Up: Beasley has not been a big factor in the passing game over the last several weeks but likely will receive some targets against the Indianapolis Colts. Owners in most leagues should have better options available and can avoid Beasley.

  • Posted: 12/13/2018 4:09pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley (foot) fully participated in practice Thursday, Dec. 13.

Huddle Up: Beasley has recorded only 32 yards over the last three games and has only 10 targets during that span. He appears to have a smaller role in the passing game than he did earlier in the season and can be avoided in fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 11/29/2018 9:10pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley caught two passes for nine yards against the New Orleans Saints on Thursday, Nov. 29.

Huddle Up: Beasley finishes the month of November with 15 receptions for 118 yards and no touchdowns across five games, failing to reach double digits in yardage in the last two. With the arrival of Amari Cooper as the clear No. 1 and Michael Gallup on the rise, Beasley's fantasy profile has shrunk to zero. If you've been holding onto him for some reason, go ahead and cut bait.

  • Posted: 11/22/2018 5:51pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley caught one of his two targets for five yards in Week 12 against the Washington Redskins.

Huddle Up: He has been a reliable source for PPR gamers lately, but Amari Cooper stole the show in this low-volume passing offense. Next week, against the New Orleans Saints, it should require all hands on deck for the Cowboys.

  • Posted: 11/18/2018 1:43pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley caught five passes for 51 yards against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 11.

Huddle Up: Beasley has been targeted at least five times in four of the last five games but has posted at least 60 yards in only two of the 10 games this season. He can be a flex option in point-per-reception leagues but can be avoided in most standard leagues.

  • Posted: 11/5/2018 8:45pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley was limited to just three receptions for 16 yards on four targets in the Week 9 loss against the Tennessee Titans on Monday, Nov. 5.

Huddle Up: Beasley continues to be a decent low-end PPR fantasy option, but the addition of Amari Cooper gives Dallas one more mouth to feed and it depresses the value of the other receivers in the room. The Cowboys travel to meet the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 10.

  • Posted: 10/20/2018 7:22pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley has shown 'No. 1-ish' qualities with his ability to create separation, according to owner Jerry Jones.

Huddle Up: Beasley is coming of a big performance against the Jaguars in Week 6, but it remains to be seen if that performance was a fluke or a sign of things to come.

  • Posted: 10/14/2018 8:53pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley caught nine passes on 11 targets for 101 yards and two touchdowns in a 40-7 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 6.

Huddle Up: Beasley scored for the first time this year, and it was his best performance since he went for seven catches and 73 yards in the opener. The Dallas passing game has struggled most of the year, so you don't need to run out and grab Beasley one big outing.

  • Posted: 10/12/2018 2:36pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley (ankle) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 12, and is not on the injury report for Week 6.

Huddle Up: Beasley will be facing one of the best defenses in the league this week and should be avoided in all leagues.

  • Posted: 10/11/2018 3:34pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley (ankle) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 11.

Huddle Up: Beasley has not been as big of a factor in the passing game this season and should be avoided this week because of the tough matchup.

  • Posted: 10/10/2018 3:36pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley (ankle) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Oct. 10.

Huddle Up: Beasley was held to one catch and eight yards last week but has still been targeted at least five times in three of the five games this season. He will be facing a tough Jacksonville Jaguars this week and can be avoided in all leagues.

  • Posted: 10/7/2018 10:41pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley had one catch for eight yards against the Houston Texans on Sunday, Oct. 7.

Huddle Up: Beasley entered the game as Dallas' leader in both receptions (16) and receiving yards (185), but he, like the rest of Dallas' wideouts, was a no show under the bright lights of Sunday Night Football. Beasley still holds flex value, at least in PPR formats.

  • Posted: 10/5/2018 1:30pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley (ankle) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 5, and is not on the injury report for Week 5.

Huddle Up: Beasley should continue to be a reliable slot receiver for the Cowboys but has been held to under 55 yards in each of his last three games. Owners probably can find better options for their lineups and can avoid Beasley.

  • Posted: 10/4/2018 2:08pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley (ankle) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 4.

Huddle Up: Beasley has been fairly consistent so far this season and has been targeted at least five times in three of the first four games. He could be a flex option in some deeper leagues but is not a must-start option in any league.

  • Posted: 9/30/2018 3:03pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley caught four passes for 53 yards against the Detroit Lions in Week 4.

Huddle Up: Beasley has been targeted at least five times in three of the four games this season and will continue to be a weapon in the slot. He can be considered a flex option next week against the Houston Texans.

  • Posted: 9/30/2018 6:35am ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley (ankle) is expected to play in Week 4's game against the Detroit Lions.

Huddle Up: Beasley logged three limited practices during the week and was listed as questionable on the injury report. He is still looking for his first touchdown of the year and should be viewed as nothing more than a potential flex option in PPR leagues with 12 or more teams.

  • Posted: 9/28/2018 1:24pm ET

Dallas Cowboys QB Cole Beasley (ankle) was limited in practice Friday, Sept. 28 and he is listed as questionable for Week 4 against the Detroit Lions.

Huddle Up: Beasley is still looking for his first foray into the end zone, amassing just 12 receptions for 132 yards on 16 targets through three games. He should only be considered a low-end WR4 in PPR leagues of 12 or more teams, with less value in standard play.

  • Posted: 9/27/2018 1:53pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley (ankle) was limited in practice Thursday, Sept. 27.

Huddle Up: At this point you really can't trustfully start anyone on the Cowboys except for Ezekiel Elliott and their defense. At best Beasley is a PPR flex in one of the most disappointing offenses in the NFL.

  • Posted: 9/26/2018 1:38pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley (ankle) participated in practice on a limited basis Wednesday, Sept. 26.

Huddle Up: Beasley has been the most targeted player in Dallas this year, but that's not saying much. Everyone not named Ezekiel Elliott has been unsuccessful through three games and no Dallas wide receiver can be relied on as a starter. At best, Beasley is a PPR flex.

  • Posted: 9/21/2018 1:57pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley (ankle) was limited during practice Friday, Sept. 21, and is listed as questionable for Week 3.

Huddle Up: Beasley was added to the injury report during the week but appears to have a good chance to play in Week 3. He is off to a slow start to the 2018 season and probably can be avoided in most fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 9/20/2018 3:34pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley (ankle) was limited during practice Thursday, Sept. 20.

Huddle Up: Beasley probably should be able to play in Week 3, but owners should check on his status later in the week. He has only 86 total yards in the first two games and probably can be avoided in most leagues this week.

  • Posted: 9/9/2018 8:26pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley posted games highs with seven receptions and 73 yards on eight targets in Week 1 against the Carolina Panthers.

Huddle Up: Beasley is a solid PPR fantasy option thanks to his solid volume of receptions on short and intermediate routes, and the Cowboys don't really have any other downfield threats to steal targets from him. He'll look to keep it rolling in Week 2 on the road against the New York Giants.

  • Posted: 8/21/2018 4:46pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley (groin) returned to practice Tuesday, Aug. 21.

Huddle Up: Beasley possesses sleeper appeal in a shallow Dallas receiving corps. He's a better bet in PPR formats, though.

  • Posted: 8/11/2018 3:48pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley (groin) was held out of practice with a groin issue Saturday, Aug. 11.

Huddle Up: It's not a serious situation. Beasley should be fine for the start of the regular season assuming there are no setbacks. He could lead the Cowboys in targets and is essentially free later in drafts.
