Indianapolis Colts TE Jack Doyle caught two passes for four yards and one touchdown against the Buffalo Bills in Week 14.

Huddle Up: Doyle was targeted close to the end zone during the game and was able to record his third touchdown of the season. He had a solid role in the passing game this season and could be a low-end No. 1 tight end in deeper leagues in Week 15.

  • Posted: 12/3/2017 7:18pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Jack Doyle was good for just three grabs and 16 yards on five targets in the Week 13 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Huddle Up: Doyle has been rather erratic lately and that's never good for fantasy owners. He just had 94 receiving yards last week, but that followed up a nine-yard outing in Week 10. He hasn't scored a touchdown in four games which ties a season-long scoring drought. He is a low-end TE1 in PPR formats, but more of a TE2 in standard play due to his inconsistency.

  • Posted: 11/26/2017 3:13pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Jack Doyle ended up with 94 yards on seven receptions in Week 12 against the Tennessee Titans. He was targeted eight times.

Huddle Up: Doyle has recorded six or more receptions in five of the past six outings and he has 63 or more yards in three of the past four games. He remains a decent low-end TE1 in most fantasy leagues heading into Week 13 at Jacksonville.

  • Posted: 11/8/2017 5:56am ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Jack Doyle has 33 catches for 278 yards and two touchdowns in the last five weeks.

Huddle Up: Doyle ranks fourth in PPR leagues at the position during the stretch. He has a tough matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers, though, in Week 10.

  • Posted: 11/5/2017 3:15pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Jack Doyle hauled in eight receptions for 63 yards in Week 9 against the Houston Texans on nine targets.

Huddle Up: Doyle has five or more receptions in each of his past five outings, and 44 or more yards in each of his past four contests. He is a solid low-end TE1 in all fantasy leagues heading into Week 10 against the Steelers.

  • Posted: 10/29/2017 6:17pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Jack Doyle racked up 12 receptions for 121 yards and a touchdown on 14 targets in Week 8 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Huddle Up: Doyle had several drops in Week 3, and a poor game on national television in Week 6, although he did end up with a score in that game. Since the poor game in Week 3 he has pulled it together with five or more receptions in each of his past four outings, including his giant stat line Sunday. He is back as a TE1 in all fantasy leagues, as he is playing inspired again.

  • Posted: 10/22/2017 3:47pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Jack Doyle finished with six receptions for 44 yards on seven targets in Week 7 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Huddle Up: Doyle had a disastrous game on Monday night in Tennessee with several drops, so he gathered himself and rebounded nicely to lead the team in yardage. But it was an ugly day all around for the Indy offense. He remains a low-end TE1 heading into Week 8 against the Bengals.

  • Posted: 10/16/2017 9:57pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Jack Doyle recorded seven grabs for 50 yards and a touchdown in the team's Week 6 game Monday, Oct. 16, opposite the Tennessee Titans.

Huddle Up: Overall, Doyle drew a season-high 11 targets from Jacoby Brissett, making it easier for him to post his biggest stat line of the campaign. He hasn't quite developed into the TE1 that some were pegging him to be after his breakout a year ago, but he can still be a solid option in certain spots. His production should also become more consistent once Andrew Luck (shoulder) returns.

  • Posted: 10/14/2017 1:28pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Jack Doyle (concussion, neck) fully participated in practice Saturday, Oct. 14, and is not on the injury report for Week 6.

Huddle Up: Doyle will return after a one-game absence and should have a solid role in the passing game against the Tennessee Titans. He can be considered a low-end No. 1 tight end in deeper leagues.

  • Posted: 10/13/2017 1:29pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Jack Doyle (concussion, neck) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 13.

Huddle Up: Doyle appears to be on track to play against the Tennessee Titans as long as he does not suffer a setback. He has been targeted at least five times in each of his last three games but has been held to under 30 yards in each of the last two games. Owners should be able to find better options to use and can keep Doyle on the bench.

  • Posted: 10/12/2017 1:17pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Jack Doyle (concussion, neck) participated fully in practice Thursday, Oct. 12.

Huddle Up: Doyle has done nothing so far to prove that he needs to be started, at least not without Andrew Luck. Keep benching Doyle until Luck's long-awaited return. Even then, Doyle will be a fringe TE1.

  • Posted: 10/6/2017 11:10am ET

Updating a previous report, Indianapolis Colts TE Jack Doyle (concussion) has been ruled out for Week 5 against the San Francisco 49ers.

Huddle Up: It's not a surprise after the Colts added Henry Krieger-Coble to the roster Friday. Doyle's neck reportedly stiffened up on Thursday, which caused him to miss practice Friday. Brandon Williams will start in his place, but he does not warrant consideration in fantasy leagues against the defense that has defended the position better than any other team in the league so far.

  • Posted: 10/6/2017 9:18am ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Jack Doyle (concussion) did not practice on Friday, Oct. 6, after getting in limited sessions the previous two days, making it likely he will miss the first game in his NFL career in Week 5 against the San Francisco 49ers.

Huddle Up: Outside of a surprise Week 2 eight-catch explosion versus the Arizona Cardinals, Doyle hasn't been worth using in fantasy this year with Scott Tolzien and Jacoby Brissett under center. With Erik Swoope already sidelined until midseason, it leaves Brandon Williams as the next man up at tight end. He will not be worth using in Doyle's absence.

  • Posted: 10/5/2017 5:45pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Jack Doyle (concussion, neck) was limited at practice for the second straight day Thursday, Oct. 5.

Huddle Up: Doyle is actually tied for the team-lead with 17 catches through the season's first four weeks, but he's not the ideal TE1 to roll with given the Colts' troubles at quarterback. Until Andrew Luck (shoulder) returns, Doyle could be a boom-or-bust proposition at tight end. He also still doesn't have a touchdown.

  • Posted: 10/4/2017 2:37pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Jack Doyle (concussion) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 4.

Huddle Up: Doyle will need to pass his concussion tests before he is cleared to play against the San Francisco 49ers. He has been targeted at least five times in each of the last three games and could be low-end No. 1 tight end if he is active for the game.

  • Posted: 10/3/2017 6:48am ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Jack Doyle (concussion) is in the concussion protocol following the Week 4 game.

Huddle Up: Doyle had five grabs for 27 yards last week, and he has a decent matchup against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 5. He'd be a good bye-week filler if he's able to go.

  • Posted: 10/1/2017 9:11pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Jack Doyle posted five catches for 27 yards on seven targets in Week 4 against the Seattle Seahawks.

Huddle Up: Doyle has some TE1 value depending on the matchup, but this wasn't a very favorable game against the Seattle defense. Luckily, a matchup against the defensively-challenged 49ers looms on the horizon in Week 5.

  • Posted: 9/29/2017 4:36pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Jack Doyle (foot) fully participated in practice and is not on the injury report for Week 4.

Huddle Up: Doyle was held to only 16 yards in the last game but should see a decent amount of targets against the Seattle Seahawks. Owners in deeper leagues could consider Doyle as a low-end No. 1 tight end, but he can be benched if owners have better options.

  • Posted: 9/28/2017 2:03pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Jack Doyle (foot) was limited in practice Thursday, Sept. 28.

Huddle Up: Doyle has had a rough go so far in 2017 without Andrew Luck. His lone bright spot came in Week 2 with eight catches for 79 yards, but he's just not the same player with Luck out. Doyle is a risky low-end TE1 this week who should be viewed as more of a high-end TE2.

  • Posted: 9/24/2017 2:10pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Jack Doyle managed just two catches for 16 yards on five targets in Week 4 against the Browns. He also lost a fumble.

Huddle Up: Doyle's fantasy production was disappointing considering the Colts were able to rack up 31 points on offense in a favorable matchup. Don't expect much more in the way of stats when the Colts travel to meet the Seahawks in Week 4.

  • Posted: 9/17/2017 3:41pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Jack Doyle caught all eight of his passes for 79 yards in a 16-13 loss to the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, Sept. 17.

Huddle Up: The Colts' QB situation makes this a difficult call, but the fact is Doyle put up strong numbers in this game. For now, Doyle remains a decent TE2 option who could improve as the Colts get more solid at the QB spot.

  • Posted: 6/1/2017 9:24pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Jack Doyle said he is trying to 'improve' in the area of being a leader in order to help the team, as he's by far the longest-tenured tight end on the roster. 'He's a reliable, reliable guy,' head coach Chuck Pagano said. 'The quarterback has a ton of faith and trust in that guy. He's always where he's supposed to be, and that makes a huge difference.'

Huddle Up: Doyle's newfound leadership role could be important for fantasy purposes, as it may help keep him in the TE1 conversation if he's getting consistent looks from quarterback Andrew Luck. Last season, Doyle registered career highs in catches (59), receiving yards (584) and touchdowns (five), and with Dwayne Allen dealt away, it's possible he crafts together another campaign with similar numbers.

  • Posted: 3/7/2017 4:45pm ET

Indianapolis Colts impending free-agent TE Jack Doyle agreed to terms on a three-year deal with the Colts Tuesday, March 7, according to a source. Financial details were not disclosed.

Huddle Up: Doyle came out of nowhere last year to finish in TE1 territory, even while splitting time with Dwayne Allen. A similar situation could unfold this season, but Doyle should still be considered a low-end TE1 to high-end TE2.

  • Posted: 2/11/2017 3:05pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Jack Doyle is expected to have several suitors in free agency following his breakout 2016 season in which he finished with 59 catches for 584 yards and five touchdowns, according to the Indianapolis Star.

Huddle Up: The Colts absolutely love what Doyle brings to the locker room and it should be noted he pretty much rivaled Coby Fleener's best seasons in Indy with the year he just had. However, Dwayne Allen received a huge four-year contract last season and isn't going anywhere, while the Colts are high on the upside of Erik Swoope, With all the help Indianapolis needs on defense, it is possible Doyle will be allowed to walk if he doesn't agree to a team-friendly deal.

  • Posted: 2/9/2017 7:54pm ET

Indianapolis Colts impending free-agent TE Jack Doyle will likely have multiple suitors in free agency, according to beat writer Stephen Holder.

Huddle Up: Despite sharing duties with Dwayne Allen, Doyle emerged as a viable weapon in the passing game. If he is given the chance to be the No. 1 tight end somewhere, he could be a TE1 candidate in 2017.

  • Posted: 12/24/2016 7:53pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Jack Doyle managed five receptions for 46 yards on seven targets in the Week 16 game against the Oakland Raiders.

Huddle Up: Doyle, in a contract season, has managed 57 catches for 574 yards and four scores, including four or more grabs in each of his past four outings. He has shown glimpses of brilliance and TE1 potential in fantasy leagues this season.

  • Posted: 12/18/2016 6:19pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Jack Doyle managed four receptions for 32 yards on four targets in the Week 15 game against the Minnesota Vikings.

Huddle Up: Doyle has managed 13 receptions for 117 yards over the past three games, but he hasn't visited the end zone since Week 7. He is best used in deeper PPR fantasy leagues heading into Week 16.

  • Posted: 12/11/2016 9:48pm ET

Indianapolis Colts TE Jack Doyle posted five receptions for 55 yards in the Week 14 game against the Houston Texans. He was targeted six times.

Huddle Up: Doyle had his most receiving yards at home since Week 3. He hasn't visited the end zone since Oct. 23, though, and he should be treated as more of a TE2 in fantasy right now.
