Ryan Fitzpatrick, BillsMoving Up
Just when it looked like he was sliding back into his former self, Fitzpatrick showed the NFL and fantasy owners everywhere that he wasn’t done quite yet, completely exploding in the second half of last week’s game against the Bengals.  He’s got a receiver in Steve Johnson that he has extreme confidence in and his own personal confidence is growing.  For now, on a per week basis, he’s one of the best fantasy scoring options among quarterbacks.

Jon Kitna, Cowboys Moving Up
Kitna continues to improve as do the Cowboys as a whole, helping him move up in fantasy rankings as well.  At this rate, he could finish the season among the leaders in overall fantasy points production per game amongst quarterbacks.  With talented receivers all around him, he’s set up to succeed if the team can keep drinking whatever it has been since the coaching change.

Troy Smith, 49ersMoving Down
The Troy Smith express came back to earth last week, tempering our expectations a bit.  It doesn’t appear likely that the team will go back to Alex Smith right away, but it could happen if Troy continues to struggle.  This week will be key in telling us what direction it will ultimately go, however for now we drop him a bit going forward.

Rusty Smith, TitansMoving Up
It isn’t going to be pretty, but another rookie quarterback enters the starting fray this week.  He’ll have an element of value because he’s on the field, but he won’t move to high in the rankings in all likelihood.  That being said, he does have Randy Moss to throw to, so at least there is potential for decent luck now and again, but the way things currently look, don’t bank on it.
