Height - While tall quarterbacks are always desirable, surprisingly a few short guys snuck in like Michael Vick and Drew Brees at only 6'0". Vick is mainly a runner but the "short" Brees led the NFL in passing yardage. They brought the average height of a top quarterback down to just 6'3" for the lowest in a while and Brees alone showed - height isn't everything.
Weight - An obvious function of height, most the quarterbacks are not "big bodied" compared to their frame. The average weight remained identical from last year. A bit different from previous years, only one quarterback (Roethlisberger) was heavier than 233 pounds.
Age - The average age had been around 30 but dipped to 29 last year thanks to Vince Young. It would actually be around 28 but Old Man Favre continues to skew the average. Overall, quarterbacks in their third to seventh year is the most common.
