The most interesting thing about the NFL combine is that we get the first real look at the measureables of the rookie class. College PR departments seem to have fun with just how their players measure up and they often end up shorter and weigh less than billed in game programs.
Chris Johnson set the combine record with a 4.24 40-yard dash time and that mark remained safe yet again this year. There were no real physical freaks this year but at least NFL talent evaluators had a chance to see them all together. Below I have placed the higher rated players at the top in their position and highlghted them in green. These are the players most likely to be drafted early. Yellow highlights show the top result for that position and category.
