The 2016 NFL Combine gives us the first view of potential rookies away from their teams and measured objectively. In the end, the ability to play football at a high level trumps any measurable stat but at least this is objective. No more college media departments adding an inch or two here or there or listing a player with an “enhanced” weight. 2016 served up one of the slowest groups of wide receivers but that was about the most notable facet to this year’s class.
