1 Week Plug & Play

Jimmy Garoppolo, 49ers
Garoppolo moved to 4-0 as the 49ers starting quarterback after ripping the Jaguars top-rated pass defense for 242 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. He also scored a rushing touchdown. Garoppolo has another tough test on deck versus the Rams on Sunday but he’s the top quarterback left on many waiver wires for owners still playing in Week 17. Keep riding the hot Jimmy G.
Availability: Owned in ~ 35% of leagues.
FAAB: $$$
Forecast: Garoppolo is a QB1 for Week 17.

On the Radar: Tyrod Taylor (40%)

Running Backs

1 Week Plug & Play

Kapri Bibbs, Redskins
The Redskins have reached the point where they may literally be down to one healthy running back. Samaje Perine left last week’s game with an Achilles injury. He came into the game battling a groin injury. With Perine unlikely to play and every other Redskins running back out for the season, Bibbs is in line for a heavy workload against a Giants defense allowing the 10th most fantasy points to running backs. Bibbs isn’t just a starting fantasy option in Week 17, he’s a good one.
Availability: Owned in ~ 10% of leagues.
FAAB: $$-$$$
Forecast: Bibbs is a RB2/Flex option versus the Giants.

Peyton Barber, Buccaneers
Barber has been the Buccaneers best running back for a month. Unfortunately, he’s still splitting carries with the unproductive Doug Martin. That could finally come to an end on Sunday. Last week Barber out-gained Martin in rushing yards 51-7. He’s topped 50 yards rushing in four straight games. The Buccaneers should lean on Barber more heavily in the season finale versus the Saints.
Availability: Owned in ~ 40% of leagues.
FAAB: $$
Forecast: Barber is a Flex play for Week 17.

On the Radar: Tion Green (5%), Branden Oliver (3%)

Wide Receivers

1 Week Plug & Play

Keelan Cole, Jaguars
Cole continued his red-hot finish to the season last week when he caught 6 of 13 targets for 108 yards against the 49ers. Cole has now recorded at least 99 yards receiving in three straight games. He’s scored a touchdown in three of his last four games. This week Cole faces a Titans pass defense allowing the sixth-most fantasy points to receivers. Expect Cole to end the year with a bang.
Availability: Owned in ~ 50% of leagues.
FAAB: $$$
Forecast: Cole is a WR3 this week.

On the Radar: Chris Godwin (1%)

Tight End

1 Week Plug & Play

Antonio Gates, Chargers
Gates hasn’t done much in his final season but he came alive last week with Hunter Henry out for the year. He caught six passes for 81 yards and a touchdown. Gates is playing his final regular season games with the Chargers on Sunday against the Raiders. He should be heavily involved in the offense once again, especially in the red zone.
Availability: Owned in ~ 30% of leagues.
FAAB: $$-$$$
Forecast: Gates is a low-end TE1 against the Raiders.

Charles Clay, Bills
Clay hasn’t put up huge fantasy numbers in his last two games but he has been targeted a team-high 19 times over that span. Clay will have an opportunity to turn those targets into more production this week when he faces a Dolphins defense allowing the second most fantasy points to tight ends. Miami has given up at least six receptions to a tight end seven times this season and three times in its last five games. Clay is worth a shot this week given his favorable matchup.
Availability: Owned in ~ 40% of leagues.
FAAB: $$
Forecast: Clay is a streaming option versus the Dolphins defense.

On the Radar: Garrett Celek (5%)

1 Week Plug & Play

Kai Forbath, Vikings
Forbath connected on three field goals last week against the Packers. He’s made eight field goals and six extra points in his last three games to put up at least 10 points in most scoring systems. Forbath faces a Bears defense this week allowing the 11th most fantasy points to kickers. Look for Forbath’s streak with double-digit fantasy points to continue.
Availability: Owned in ~ 60% of leagues.
Forecast: Forbath is a Top 12 kicker for Week 17.

On the Radar: No one

Defense/Specials Teams

1 Week Plug & Play

Washington Redskins
We gave out the Redskins defense last week and they delivered with four sacks, an interception and two fumble recoveries. In its last three games, Washington’s defense has recorded 11 sacks, three interceptions, three fumble recoveries and scored a touchdown. They have another strong matchup this week against a Giants offense allowing the eighth most fantasy points to team defenses. The Redskins defense is a top play again for Week 17.
Availability: Owned in ~ 40% of leagues.
FAAB: $$-$$$
Forecast: Redskins are a Top 10 defense in Week 17.

On the Radar: Lions (60%)
